Dang that's a good deal. I got the same exact one for $33, but I ordered license plates online and my back window is super tinted so better than getting pulled over a couple times.

This is an excellent and detailed review. Much better than the others I've seen on this laminator. I have this laminator and unfortunately, I now hate it because of its weird shape, which makes it hard to store in a compact fashion. So, I'm giving this one away an will buy the AmazonBasics one, which comes in box shape.

4 years past. when you compared amazon basics one and scotch's one, which one do you suggest? I coudln't decide which one to buy. Amazon's one some complaints when scotch has was better reviews.. and Amazon's one looks better and smaller.. any advice?

Nalenka Sims you can trim to a little wider than 1/8 of an inch. That's the width of the sealed area.

Ok I have a question please and thank you. Since you did double sided when you cut around the pictures did you need to run each piece back through so it could secure the seal?

No. When trimming you do not cut right up to the edge of the image if you want to lamination to stay together. You have to have the plastic where it actually fused together.

Nice tutorial. I made the tn with bonas tutorial and i found that if you cut too close , with time the pouch will seperate. Just my experience. I figure l have like 100 pouches next time i will just make one at a time. Its worth it since you put some much effort into the projects. Tfs hugs Carmen

Maksnana2012 Tfw Yes, I think it's slightly wider than an 1/8 of an inch clearance that you have to leave because that is the sealed part.

My laminator won't pull what's to be laminated through. The blue light is on that shows it's ready and I can stick it in, but it doesn't do anything.
