In this short informational video I warn you about a Pofung Radios website that claims it is the new Baofeng. Specifically "Pofung Radios, formerly Baofeng Radios". Baofeng is known as probably the largest manufacturer of low-cost ham radios, GMRS radios and amateur radio equipment - so did Baofeng go out of business or has it been taken over by the Pofung Radios company? I show you the website making this claim (WARNING! Do not go to that website) - and I explain why you should not believe everything you see on the internet.

They tried changing their name several years ago. Apparently "pofung" is closer to what "Baofeng" should sound like, when pronounced in English. I have a couple of radios from a few years back that are labeled Pofung, but they didn't stick with the change very long

Frankly, all the cheap Chinese radios look the same to me regardless of which name they have - Boofung, Pofung, Whoflungdung, whatever. I have a couple Boofungs and tested them on a spectrum analyzer. Surprisingly, the were clean. I must have gotten lucky.

I know you've said several times that you're running out of content ideas in the realm of GMRS/HAM, have you thought about doing content for DMR radios and their many features?
