I just cannot contain myself seeing Dark(?) almost score that flawless wall-pogo (WALL POGO?!?!?) after the double pogo, basically on command. And then to really dissolve my brain it turns out he can basically do that super unique set up flawlessly, completely reproducibly, and with great placement too...

This was one of the best show-matches I've ever watched! I noticed right away that they were not taking their 'memorized' combos, that they were matching each other at the edge of their capabilities. That they wanted to keep going said they were both enjoying it, as I was enjoying watching. The idea of a boost use counter is absolute genius, I hope someone brings that mod! I just thought of the sickest *pogo* that would surely become viable for competitive. ... so instead of tapping the ball off the wall for a reset then a pogo, you fake the wall touch, go above it slightly then hit it down towards the ground while using that first jump off the wall, then pogo immediately off the ground and use your second dodge probably for a pass or a musty or with a full boost you could probably air dribble then get a reset and shoot or even musty to a double touch.

@@yougow1000 you either use your 2nd dodge to dodge into the ball after the pogo, or you use it to get the reset after the pogo. The ball should only be about 1/4 of the way up the wall, not too high or it is too long of a duration to get the pogo and get back to the ball while still having your 2nd dodge. There's technically no reason to need a reset from this maneuver. I actually almost did it in an online match yesterday and as soon as I do it I'm uploading it so be ready.

takes alotta time and you would need alot of boost to get a second reset and if you dont get a reset and just use the flip from the wall ur not gonna get anywhere near the net to inflict any threat

13:50 Someone please tell me how dark did this. As he goes for his second reset he seems to reverse mid air in a way that none of the flips can do as far as I know. It’s directly backwards without rotating his car as if it’s like a reverse boost or he’s just driving in reverse on the ground.

In general, I dont think its reasonable if a community invents a new mechanic for us to minimize/disrespect their work be branding something other than what they themselves what it to be called. Even if that name seemingly doesnt make sense to us. (its like your mother 'created' you and named you "Feer" but I insist on calling you "Fear" dispite your correcting me)

Still have no idea why the "pogo" is so fascinating to people. Lol. I find it incredibly boring. You bounce a little, waste all of your boost getting back to the ball & shoot... How are people impressed by this? It's the most inefficient, boring thing to watch. Lol.
