just finished watching, i love how the 1st story was so brutal and violent and yet couldnt scare me nearly as much as the 2nd story. just goes to show how scary an addiction like that can be when you know whats its like.

I would prefer a store that is open only at night. This is when I'm awake. Why do we not have more of these in real life? I'm so serious. My saving grace is that I live in one of the largest cities in the nation and there is a mom and pop store that is open 24 hours not too far from the house. Their prices are reasonable and the selection is not great, but not the worst.

The board game story was incredible, made me feel like i wanted to cry when the friends started killing each other over it and the ending gave me chills. Such a breath of fresh air over the regular paranormal or creepy stories, whoever wrote it did such a good job. It was kind of a slow burn but it really payed off after a few minutes.

The last city I lived in had a convenience store with pretty similar hours to the store in the first story (7pm to 6/7 am), which initially seems weird, but then I realized that it’s right there on the road from all the bars to the area I lived in. They were definitely capitalizing on the “drunk college students” market, which was great since the only other place that was open in the middle of the night was this one kebab shop with great food and terrible service. This is all just to say that I 100% would not have clocked the store as suspicious, especially if they sold that one spicy ramen I liked lmao

The Shi that the store in the 1st story apparently used is 四 and only means 4. The Shi that means 'death' is an entirely different kanji: 死 that and it's funny that they jumped to Japanese kanji instead of Chinese Hanzi
