Can I use a rotary cutter instead of the burning method? Thank you for your tutorial.
@tammykavney-rose3 жыл бұрын
You can but it will fray a little more.
@SunshineandPixieDust3 жыл бұрын
The benefit of burning on this type of mesh is it melts the fibers at the end together. This is especially important if you were using two colors together. Regular deco mesh I don't find much difference between burning and rotary cutting. I rotary cut my regular deco mesh. But with the poly mesh for flowers, the fraying is just too much. Hope this helps. Happy Crafting.

@@SunshineandPixieDust so do you use burlap or just deco mesh?
@SunshineandPixieDust3 жыл бұрын
@@deeberry93 It is actually a mesh type called poly burlap. it's not burlap and it's not regular deco mesh. i find regular deco mesh doesn't hold up for this style. What you see I'm using in the video is poly burlap.

Does this take more than 1 roll of red mesh?

Why does my mesh don't come out even, even thought I measure it out on my cutting board?
@SunshineandPixieDust3 жыл бұрын
I have had that to happen to me as well. Especially toward the end of a roll it happens more.
