Underwood is not just the #1 QB he is also the #1 player... Huge difference. The last 5 QBs that were #1 player were all first round picks--so he is most likely going to be a star. Underwood said he doesn't want anything handed to him--according to coach Moore. Underwood can already make downfield NFL throws and he is a freak athlete... It will be well understood why he got 12 Million sooner than later.

If you look at Kirk's body of work at Michigan with the context of who he had in the QB room and how the game was called on the field it looks more and more like michigan won the natty last year in spite of him. Just seems like Michigan has always been allergic to hiring a legit QB developer to maximize whatever talent (or lack thereof) in that room since Carr left, but Lindsey's resume looks to change that.

I don’t know how long it will take to rebuild his motion. There was a reason he didn’t want to play as a freshman, they knew he had to be broken down and rebuilt

Jadyn Davis probably made a mistake not playing this year. He probably would have been better than the QBs that actually played, and would have been able to demonstrate his potential. Now he is in the shadow of Underwood.

The QBs weren’t great this year which isn’t all Kirk’s fault but not tailoring the offense to players we had and the terrible in-game play calling was. Nobody can convince me that Kirk called the northwestern and OSU games because the team hadn’t looked anywhere close to that good all year. Kirk had to go.

Underwood did not play well in high school playoffs vs. Catholic Central. It is obvious that he throws a pretty ball. But he will need a lot of game experience in college to become a winner against good competition. Same type of performance in the state playoffs in 2023 as well.

Based on your comments, I have to wonder how much you really know about Underwood and Davis. Davis was never considered generational. In fact he fell from a 5 star rating to a 4 star and didn’t even crack the top 300. He was most likely hyped during his recruitment so the fan base wouldn’t explode. Davis hasn’t seen the field because rumor has it, the guy has an awful throwing motion that requires a ton of work. He also only weighs 190lb and hasn’t added any weight after a year in the program. Underwood on the other hand is a grown man. Hearing you suggest he may need to put on some weight is laughable. The guy is 6’4 215 and only 17. lol. That’s bigger than JJ. And unlike JJ, Bryce has been referred to by every major recruiting outlet as “generational.” The funniest thing you guys said however was suggesting that Bryce might “freeze” in front of 100k fans. LMFAO. This guy is built for that moment. Just the suggestion of that is laughable. You guys are usually pretty good but y’all seemed completely uninformed by the comments you made in this episode

As I mentioned, the only time I ever heard Jadyn Davis get hyped was when Michigan was recruiting him. Then everyone was scratching their head when he fell from a 5 to a 4 star and dropped out of the top 300. Davis is a project at best. Maybe he sits behind Underwood and becomes the bridge QB after BU heads to the league in two years? Again, 6’4 215 is bigger than JJ was his Jr season. And Bryce is only 17 so he’s still growing
