Both offenses will struggle to move the ball against both defenses. With that in mind, Tennessee has a more efficient running game (Ohio State’s O-line is Swiss cheese, and Tennessee’s D-line is solid), and that will likely win the day. Ryan Day will feel pressured to abandon his careful play calling “not to lose” against Michigan and will go for a balanced passing attack, with little balance running the ball. I’m guessing the Tennessee secondary will pounce on this and get a pick or two. Heupel is more used to winning high intensity, close games, and if it’s within one score in the 4th quarter look for Tennessee to come out on top. Tennessee 27 Ohio State 20

Tennessee Volunteer here. I am stocked about this game! Much respect to the Buckeyes, yall have a great program with rich tradition. As for the game I know both teams will be up for it. Ive never in my life watched more OSU games in my life than this year. Most on KZbin after the fact. Just based on what ive seen and going by the two losses each have and how they lost. The strength of Defense and dynamics of the offenses ive got to go with Tennessee 21-10. OSU is favored by a touchdown. I just don't see yall getting past our Defense. The Big Ten has the best defenses in the country, so it tracks that they are good nationally but not good in conference on third down. They had 8 top 25 defenses compared to 3 for the SEC. The SEC isn’t the same this season.

I keep hearing about the weather, but I don't think Ohio understands what the weather is like in the Smokies. Treating the weather like your best player is a BIG MISTAKE! The only way Ohio St wins is because of home field advantage The committee is clearly biased towards the Big 10. Ohio St lost to a team with 5 losses, and played in a weaker conference. Ohio State was heavily favored in their loss to Michigan. TN lost on the road against Arkansas, and lost to Georgia between the hedges, where Georgia hasn't lost since 2019. Will Howard is the only buckeye problem. He is the worst QB i ever seen at ohio St. He is so bad.
