Such a fun movie, Swayze became addicted to skydiving from doing this movie, he almost didn't take the role because he didn't want to play a bad guy, he was great at it so glad he did

This movie is a classic. Patrick F'n Swayze man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fast and The Furious "borrowed" the premise. Undercover cop infiltrates a sub-culture and bonds with them.

Great movie. You should see Keanu Constantine and Chain Reaction and The Devil Advocate. Also Patrick Swayze Road House and Ghost . Fyi Gary Busey was already in a great surfer movie you should see called Big Wednesday. The singer of Red Hot Chilli Pepper plays a small role in this movie. He is the guy who shot his own leg. Point Break was also Tony Stark nickname to Thor :) because of Patrick Swayze blonde hair. The remake suck don't watch it. Another early fun underrated Keanu Reeves movie is The Night Before you should see it.

In case you are wondering, it's impossible for a person to hold on to someone with a parachute while it opens. Humans don't have enough arm strength to hold on during the jerk of parachute opening. You need a harness with metal wire to connect both jumpers. This scene is one of the most famous in parachute jumping society, so many tried to replicate it.

No this was not Keanu's first movie. Keanu has been doing movies since the 80s. You should also check out "A Walk in the Clouds," "The Devil's Advocate," "The Gift (2000),"Something's Gotta Give," "The Lake House," "Hardball," "Permanent Record," "River's Edge," "Constantine," "Parenthood," and the 3 Bill & Ted movies.

Another classic movie. Probably in my top twenty. Not sure what my top three might be. Maybe it's Stalker, To Live And Die In LA and The Sting. I need to watch The Big Sleep again to see if that grows on me enough. Chinatown, Jaws, It's a Wonderful Life and so many others would be in my top twenty.

Funny fact: There had to have been one of the worst "Edited for TV" cuts in the early 90s ever: standing out was when Johnny Utah was jumping out of the plane, and instead of the "F--- it!!!" we got a voice actor who didn't even begin to try to copy Keanu Reeves' voice, and the new censored TV version was this off-pitch unrecognizable "Bodhi!!!" instead.
