just when I'd given up hope of ever seeing the end of this series! Thanks for making my night with this final part Nutn! The amazing talk and conversation between you and Bugget alone made it worth watching. It's readily apparent how good friends you two are and it's so entertaining to watch. Thanks again man, appreciate you posting for us. Keep up the great work!

Nutn, for some reason, I love these vids. Just like the B roll vids of you and PFI at shot. I love the informality, the candidness and "the life through nutn's eyes" vids. The knife and guns reviews rock, but this particular view of you (annd bugget) show a human side of the project. Thanks again. KC-10 pilot....
@runngunr2112 жыл бұрын
I loved this video. So cool. Love seeing the bolt guns out and then just some talk amongst the guys. Thats what TNP is about. Its not just testosterone and shooting but dudes being dudes, talking nature, life, guns, gear and life... joking around too. I love it! Totally great! Thanks for posting. Can't wait to see you guys run up their for Bugget's reshoot!

Great shooting. I have issues at 100 YARDS in day light. You were doing 750 YARDS dust. That's great. I was very impressed. The view where you were at es great. When I was Zion, and we left there and went shooting. Great country shooting area out there, Gods country. Thank you...

What a great series! Thanks for nutn! LOL I would love to see some more run and gun. My son and I have started to do some run and gun with our .22's. It really adds another level to our shooting. Thanks again for all that you do nutnfancy, keep up the great work.

I don't know if anybody has mentioned this but the shell may not be ejecting from the chamber correctly because it is hitting the side of your scope. I had this issue with one of my Rem 700's with a large scope mounted low. It is actually common with some set ups.

Thanks nutn for this excellent series. I know you were concerned about the popularity because views aren't as large as they are with the run 'n gun or review videos. I personally like the laid back style of this series and the camping adventure videos. I often have them playing in the background as I am doing other things at home. Hey Veri! Thanks for reminding you brother that we as TNP fans like all types of vids. I'll keep watching.

My buddy and I did this. We went out to the Rocky Mountains and humped it 12 miles with LIGHT gear and LIGHT rifles. Ohmygosh, it was rather difficult! I used to chuckle at Nutn's weight obsession... Well, HE'S RIGHT! I'm really reconsidering my .308 build I had planned. A 12lb gun is not ideal...

Your so right. Until you hump a pack that heavy it's no joke. I don't get out like that. But he preaches it for a reason.

Soft armor isn't just for pistols, even though they're rated for that, but for ragments. It's calculated that in rescent wars most casualities & wounds in battle are caused by artillery & other explosives. Handguns are relatively ineffective since 1 kill equals thousands of fired rounds statistically speaking, that's why 360 degree soft armor is even more important than normal Sapi plates which are usually used in combo with soft armor.

How long was the flight path from the time you pulled the trigger until it made contact with the target and or dirt?

Love the video. A little concerned with how much Bugget flinched at 8:10 when he thought that round was going to fire. Even if he'd been able to see the target and get on from that range, that kind of flinch could have thrown his shot off. Love the long gun vids!!!

If you make a Point Break Part 4, maybe you could break some 10 or 12 hour chemlites and place them around the targets. You might get a little more night shooting time. Not sure if they will be bright enough by the end of your hike but its worth a shot. At the very least if the chemlites are still bright enough you will get a general idea of where your target is. Good video. I havent watched your vids in a while.

You are so lucky to have the kinds of friends and friendships you have. Thank God for them every day. They are few and far between. Bugget: "Tactical Toblerone......naw, that's gay." You can not find more classic and scintillating banter. ;) Thanks Nutn! God bless.

what range finders do you guys use? and how much did they cost? I am in the market for one and was wondering what your data points were on some of them! I am currently looking at the Bushnell ARC1000 or the equivalent Leupold model that does 1000yds the Leupold is more but has better clarity but the Bushnell does the ARC thing so it calculates angles for shooting bows or rifles up and down hills.
@DamionJR492312 жыл бұрын
Hey nutn what do you think of other canister stoves like the jetboil? My brother has one it boils water way faster but it doesn't make a camp fire like in this video very well. You did sell me a pocket rocket and I like it but I like how quick the jetboil works. What are your thoughts.

Ha, trying to find a place to do this in the Rockies is proving both easy and hard. Easy to find an empty cutover for 1-1500 yard shooting, hard to find time and ammo :( such is the struggle. Decent way to lose weight, though!

Do y'all have any surveyors flagging tape for a tale tale on the legs of the targets? Might help with wind direction at the target (although not realistic for real life, great for practice), and also help picking up the target at distance. I heard you say you had orange cones which I'm sure would be much better for picking them up at 500+. Might even paint the surface of the steel with neon orange paint. I also realze it is hard to see facing West, experienced that many times hunting.

i would like to hear more about the scopes. I gleaned that you had a Burris 6-20 & a Night Force. Nothing about if your objective lens was 40-50 MM. Nothing about if your ret. was Mil Dot or some BDC. Scope illumination? Weight? Ring preference? Also can you go into the details of what you do for working out the details of making such a long shot. I think guys would like to hear about the work needed for setting zero at 100 and then working up to 750 yards. Also round count to get there.

The ISS is in low earth orbit, which means it orbits once every 90 minutes or so, it's really booking- consequently it's only takes about 11 minutes to go from horizon to horizon depending on its path etc. It'd be interesting to see if that app was really showing the track of it moving that quickly.
