putting aside the time for sound selection... the fact that he produced the whole song to almost exact replication in 20 mins is INSANE. I wish it was THAT easy
@elcapitan61262 жыл бұрын
it's a testament to how he practices: lots of habit building by repeatedly replicating tracks as fast as possible, initially ignoring the quality (quality would come with practice and fine tuning the habit)

Amazing to hear it all broken down. Also amazing that while the exact chords/sounds are being used, it almost sounds nothing like the OG because of the “non quantized” elements of the original. Plus the drums are way more in the pocket. But this is still FIRE.

This is one of the songs of lockdown 1 for me… probably too old at 42 for tik tok but so many videos had this tune and although it was a mad time I do have some good memories of the time I wasn’t in work as a key worker, keeping safe at home watching TT I love these videos; they’re fab ❤

So entertaining. I love it. Everyone’s a critic right? The techno part at 17:12 should be at 17:11 it’s one of my fav parts. Let me know if that’s a worthy observation. FYI I was hoping you’d recreate the bridge “ don’t come out ow ow, don’t show up oh oh,’ where the vocals are warped and reversed or reverbed maybe. I just love this song. I’m glad u chose this song. It’s complicated for sure. Greta job professor.
