Mayaro Trinidad, how it has changed and yet stayed the same. We will be looking at Mayaro Trinidad through the eyes of someone who has not seen Mayaro for a very long time. When you look at Mayaro through those eyes you really notice how Mayaro has grown from the sleepy Trinidad seaside fishing village with a few vacation homes. However even with the changes the long sweeping Mayaro Beach lined with coconut trees has remained the same.

Hello Point boy, Thank you for your Mayaro Beach Visit, I haven’t Visited MAYARO or been to that Area in about, 35+Years, I remember the last time I Saw Mayaro Was back in 1987, My Father used to Own a Small Beach Motel Right the Beach itself, I also remember me and my Other Siblings Getting up in the morning, Going into the Motel bar kitchen and Helped make a big breakfast Before the Guests and Visitors Arrived, And Packing the Bar with Extra Ice and Ice cold Drinks, and Setting Up the Chairs and Tables, Before We All got to go And Swim and Play in the Sand and Sometimes Helped Pull Sain Fishing Net from the Water with Large Catches of Fish and Crabs🦀, And After get to Take my Share of Fish that I Had, Even Placing my 7 Fish into A Bucket on the beach 1 day after pulling the Fishing Nets., A fisherman who came late to the beach to Get fish to Sell and Didn’t Get Any, Decided to STEAL my Bucket of Fish for his Own Use, and Run as fast as he Can Away from me, it hurt me bad, and I was very angry after spending about 3, Hours pulling the Nets to get my fair share of Fish and my hands were sore And blistered.., I Was 7 Years old @ the Time, So I told my father what has happened and He Told me Don’t Worry About It, God will take more away from him in Due Time,😔 But I never let Something like that Discouraged me From Enjoying My best Childhood Experience I ever had For that Short Time in my Life in Mayaro, I hope to see Mayaro again someday and See the Changes it has Become, I will Visit there in the future one Last time Before I can’t see it any More in my Lifetime., And Enjoy the Memories of the Beach Again 1 Last Time…! 🙋🏾‍♀️❤️🇺🇸✡️🌈✝️🇹🇹🦋👍🏾

What you are seeing is the sargussumm seaweed. That is a natural phenomenon that is affecting the entire Caribbean plus the coasts of Florida and Mexico.
