It's really cool to me how Crow, having played BOTW first + much more than wind waker, approaches things like a BOTW player. Like, yeah, there's the whole "Oh, this guy has a shield, he must be hard" moment, but what really intrigued me was in the forest temple after getting the deku leaf. When he was falling in the super tall room at around 34:00, most players would have used a jump attack or a roll to cancel the fall damage, since that's what you've done in 3d zelda games since time immemorial. Crow instead pulled out his deku leaf, cancelling the fall damage that way like you'd do with the BOTW paraglider. It was just really cool to see, to me!

I find it interesting how common it is for someone to love one Zelda game to the point where everyone would assume they know everything about Zelda, but then they haven’t played most of the games. I grew up playing A Link to the Past and always loved Zelda games, but most of the games I only played in the last 5 years. Prior to that I’d only played A Link to the Past, Wind Waker, the other adult timeline games, half of Link’s Awakening, A Link Between Worlds, and the very beginnings of a few other random games. Then in 2015 I started trying to play through all the Zelda games. By the time Breath of the Wild came out, I had finished all the 3D games, and as of last year, I have beaten all canon Zelda games.

My 2 favorite console zeldas are wind waker and majora's mask and now you're playing both of them. By the way, all the optional masks in majora's mask are gained from sidesquests, so you may end up doing an all sidesquests run anyway if you want all the masks. By the way, I'm not going to spoil what you can get, but collecting all the fairies is well worth the tedium. The great fairy mask makes it easier to find the fairies own your own so you don't have to rely on chat to find them. Good Luck and have fun exploring both games
