Garr Salthoof: the father of the two salthoof sure did cause a lot of pain and suffering. Dude has created a prime spot for dying in HC classic. Garr salthoof has a special charge much like boars that hurts like a truck and it will take the unexpected player by surprise. not to mention the boats are packed with mobs. Garr is also in the middle deck of the boat rather then on top in the video in classic. So unless your prepped you will most likely die here. So pain and suffering indeed!

having flashbacks of trying to get my bloodsail buccaneer rep up while also working on the "Did Somebody Order a Knuckle Sandwich?" achievement back when unarmed skill was a thing. Took forever, but it was totally (not) worth it.

There was an achievement back in the day for having exalted rep with both the Bloodsail Buccaneers and (I think) the Steamwheedle Cartel which were almost mutually exclusive that I actually ended up getting. I got banned for being a bot for about a day until they relented and let me use my account again because I was spending hours killing low level pirates.

Fun Fact: Harlan Sweete has a quest that (in)directly involves him in Drustvar. You pick up a letter near where the pirates are by Waycrest Manor and it details about his attack on Drustvar. The interesting thing about this quest is there is no indication that there is or has been an attack, there are no follow-ups and it's never mentioned anywhere else. There is no resolution in any form and Sweete isn't even a cause for anything that happens in Drustvar. I got home and had to look it up, the name of the quest is "Sweete's Orders", you find it in a log book on one of the ships in Chandlery Wharf.

I honestly didn't know about several of these, The guys at Pirate day, Pashthan Salthoof or Lifeboat, but I kinda like the ideas about them. OK, Cook Lastwind is legit nuts, and I hope we get to fight him in the future, perhaps even go through his backstory, because that guy is despicable, adventure, excitement and booze cannot replace your family! Lifeboat, just Lifeboat, we have to fight that thing in a future quests, let it grow to an immese size and give it some flotation devices, let it be a vessel for a piratecrew, and then let us sink it!

My personal number 1 has to be Time Cap'n Hooktail from Tazavesh. Shadowlands got a lot wrong, but Tazavesh was a great dungeon both mechanically and visually. I never knew I needed a dungeon boss fight against an infinite time dragon with a hook for a tail.

Edwin Van Cleefe was the leader of the Defias Brotherhood, I'd say he would count as sort of a pirate. Though the Defias weren't just pirates, but their formation actually does kind of fit with pirates. Van Cleefe was a noble of the Stormwind stone masons and wanted more money for rebuilding Stormwind. So he turned to essentially piracy.

I love your content, it's just so freaking awesome and I like that. One thing, you have Captain Nanners but I think I found his older brother, who outranks him. Major Nanners is in Veil of Eternal Blossoms and he's one of the Elusive Foes Achievement. And yes, he throws bananas, as does the rest of the hozen he's hanging with up there.
