The CC is a great car!
@garymathe98636 жыл бұрын
i have the 2013 VR6 CC. The sound is nice when stock, but once you start replacing parts, it becomes intoxicating. Just replacing the large middle muffler with a pipe (~$80) makes it sound better than 95% of cars out there. Then you can add a couple of quality mufflers in the rear (e.g. Magnaflow/Borla) and you have the sound of an exotic, no joke. Wookie roar! PS: Great review, but the seats are not real leather in these cars which is great because 10 years later they still look the same unlike real leather. Also, the CC's exterior looks BETTER than similar Audis (A4, A6), and even the interior is 90% as good (I've owned 2 A4s and a TTS so I know firsthand). Oh, and no turbo lag ;)

Hey man, I have the VR6 aswell, 2012, I recently had the resonater removed (center i think), and the sound is great! but i wanna go a little louder, or try and hear some DSG farts (i heard its possible for the VR6), Does removing the large middle muffler with a pipe drone much for you? Whats the best set up to limit drone? Any tips!
@guy9906 жыл бұрын
great video, you have a good eye for a lot of quality things from the materials used to the infotainment being laggy. I like the center screen in between the gauge cluster but the infotainment is very outdated.

I'm interested in buying VW with 3.6 engine. 5:58 - can you please explain why it doesn't matter if you have 6 or 7 speed gearbox? As far as I know 6-speed (DQ250) gearbox should be far more reliable than 7-speed (DQ200). If gearbox oil changes are correctly done every 60 000 km, there shouldn't be any problems.

Excellent review, I already really wanted to purchase this car and my choice is now even stronger! The 15L/100km figure for city drive is a bit scary but I guess that's the price to pay for such a driving experience. Do you think it can get lower with a calm driving style in town? And second question: what about the sound proofing, is it good?
@garymathe98636 жыл бұрын
I get 13-25+MPG. That's a huge range, meaning that if you push it, it will act like a V8 (and sound as good too!) but if you want, you can easily get decent fuel efficiency. But if fuel cost is a concern for you, I'd definitely get the 2.0T instead.

If you're buying a newish one, you are almost guaranteed to have 0 problems AT LEAST until 60k miles. Once you're over 100k, it's a bit of a crap shoot, just like the timing belt/chain. If you are getting an older one, get a manual or regular automatic.
