Since Mr. Olson commented already, I'm figuring he was in the lineup for this show!! Brilliant Poison Idea performance, the only time I got to see PI was In Boston May 1990 same lineup as this but with Aldine on guitar in stead of Eric AKA Vegetable. It's funny Slayer Hippy didn't know how to play "Lifestyles" at this concert, but he knew it when they played Boston when I saw them. This era of Poison Idea was the top of the food chain for 1980's Hardcore punk. "Kings of punk", "War all the time" and "Feel the Darkness' are musical masterworks that should be in everyones collections! Brilliant band!

@@MikeIXWilliams the May 1990 show was at the Rat. Total mind-blowing show, at one point Jerry picked Aldine up by the neck and he played a sick lead totally upside down. They closed the show with a cover of "Kick out the jams" they were amazing!!

Thanks to David Hayes for this show and recording us the same day for the "What Are You Pointing At?" comp. Herb Tarlicks and Life Sentence also rocked after us. Wonder if there is any video of us.

A full size drum kit looked like a mini kids set with Steve behind it! Wish I there, I loved seeing people being hit with their massive wall of sound for the 1st time! (as I once was at this line-ups 1986 debut matinee show at the satyricon- with my eyebrows still unable to grow all the way back!) Trust me, It was a thing that could only be felt (not heard) in person to be truly appreciated! (A sound almost as big as the food/booze list on their pre-show rider! LOL! HA ha ha!)

After reading Jerry Lang's 3 books on his history with the band and learning they were all junkies most of the time. I'm shocked how good they were at this gig.

This is priceless. I loved their fuck it attitude in a scene plagued by militant mindsets. Individuality is what being punk advocates and not looking like a football team of hot topic models. The commercialism of punk/ hardcore via grunge ruined a truly great thing. So, it’s rather disheartening to see younger individuals giving credit to Kurdt C for finding punk rock.
