Every champion has a theme team: Red: half starter, half rage quit; Blue: a diverse team which is ironic considering he's a gym leader now; Lance: _flying types and you cannot prove me wrong;_ Steven: stell types; Wallace: water types; Scynthia: half pretty half destructive team. It suits her well; Alder: half bugs half forgotten pokémon; Iris: dragons and fairy counters cuz she was aways ahead of her time. I mean, her ace can mega-evolve and the other members of her team are Kalos Pokémon. - Lionel: Iris 2.0. 1/3 of his team are Dragon types, his ace is a dragon-like Pokémon, has a counter for Fairy types and a starter to boot. - Geeta: Her gimmick is making the wrong choices, I guess. Her ace is useful as the first Pokémon to send in battle, but is usually sent last. Has a perfect Pokémon for the last spot, but sometimes sends it early.

As you were fighting Wallace through the main story in emerald so you were a bit limited in supplies. But in white 2, you were in post game which means you had access to moves like grass knot which are super effective on wallace. That's why he degraded

Steven will always be the TRUE Hoenn Champion anyways. As much as I love Emerald storywise, I ALWAYS hated Wallace taking over as the Champion. (I had a hard enough time fighting his mentor starting with Torchic, why do I have to have problems against the Champion too?)

I'm so torn on this one The beginning is probably the best of all versions of the theme, but when 0:32 hits, it's so lackluster compared to the rse and oras themes that just go so much harder the smash version is pretty much just this one but with a guitar the one from Colosseum, however, is really good too

Like I said, back in the day. Sturdy then didn't keep them from a one hit KO. Wallace also has a Whiscash that spammed Earthquake and Amnesia. He could easily take down Aggron with Whiscash and it being immune to electric cancels out Thunder. Whiscash could also do a good amount of damage to Metagross as well. Cradily is also weak to Ice and every Pokemon Wallace has also has an Ice attack. Steel attacks are also not very effective against Water Types also. So Steven was at a disadvantage.
