Introducing the "Drift Ball". It's an upgraded prototype of the Fast Ball for catching fast Pokémon. However... Due to being a prototype, it has the tendency to smell like burnt rubber after a successful catch.

5g is eh, you knew they, the designers, were shaken when game freak announced g4 wasn't the last one. Thankfully, the story is quite good, and so are some pokemon design. But they mostly pale in comparison to the first 4

Music department is top notch (even though music can be considered a big subjective aspect), pokemon design was good just like any other region, but mechanically the game peaked, item, stats, over-all balance, it's the gen where you can pick any pokemon and make it competitive, or even in casual play you can enjoy using mons that in previous gens were oversadowed because the the tiers, i never in my life was so happy that i could finally use a beedrill in my party and not feel that it was just catching up or just simply lacking, and we get to see the changes in the region in a second entry a few years into the future. 5th gen is definitelly their best work since the Johto remake.
