@@Mac14329 they already did that in Sun and Moon: the evil team is called Team Skull which is from Explorers of Time, and Gladion's theme sounds very similar to "Run Away Fugitives" from the original PMD games. Also, this might be a stretch, but Legends Arceus features you waking up on a beach with partial memory loss, and at the end of the game you have to fight an enraged Dialga.

Considering that, from the perspective of the BDSP Trainer, this is just a strong Pokémon but they know little of their origins or powers, this theme fits. When we encounter many legendaries in other places, we at least have a trek into a forest or such to determine what kind of Pokémon they are; this time they’re almost presented to you. You know they’re strong, but know little of what they are. You know their strength, but not their lore or even much of their environment.

The simple fact that just about everyone hears some primal dialga here and is absolutely loving it shows how much of a fuckin masterpiece the music in that game was and how much a good musical choice can influence something like a battle theme. Finally an actually new theme that actually inspires Nostalgia. Modern JRPG mobile games haven't been slouching in the music department at all. Even the more average ones are comparable to some of the classics. Stuff like Masters, Theaterythm Final Fantasy and others have really shown some serious dedication in the music division. Also all Mystery Dungeon riffs get an automatic 10 from me.

Something that possibly would have fixed this repetitiveness is that at the beginning of the theme (the transition from the beginning of the battle) it has a certain difference to the theme that pays homage to the intro of each Slate Legendary of its respective generation (thus separating a little this theme for Legendary Birds, Legendary Beasts, Regis/Legendary Titans and Eon Duo)

To answer the debate of if the one part is Dialgas's Fight to the Finish or Lugia's theme from the anime the answer is actually pretty simple, In this song specifically it's Dialga's Fight to the finish while in the major legendary version that segment is tweaked to sound a lot more similar to Lugia's theme.

What even is Ramanas park? I know it’s a way to get legendaries of course, but I wonder how did come to existence. It’s said that it’s made for strong trainers, like do legendaries get manifested or something and appear, and is that why most gym leaders and elite 4 members have them in the battle tower?

I think it came from Ramanas Isle in Legends Arceus where you find Landorus and an Alpha Infernape, I think. And they retconned the former Pal Park from the DS games into Ramanas Park to maybe fit in better with the rest of the lore and give players something challenging after the main story?

It's not even that challenging it's just a menial task to get enough of the gems to get the slates. Which isn't difficult at all. BDSP really has a dissapointing post-game.
