In this community there isn’t any limit on the amount of comments you can make, and I don’t find any reason to have one anyways. Having one or two comments with crammed, unrelated pieces of commentary together is not a very good idea (unless you appreciate comments that are near impossible to read, which I don’t). Fortunately Glaceon doesn't exist in this Gen. Unfortunately neither do sensible attack/special attack move assignment nor good level up learnsets. Flygon and Onix are iconic pokemon that don't learn good moves without consuming your TMs or breeding shenanigans.

@@JJSquirtle yeah, gamefreak is really bad about having sensible base stats, Onix a 20+ft rock snake has the same physical attack stat as Zubat, Wooper, Pidgey, Butterfree, and Cutiefly (a litteral fruit fly). Fortunately Steelix has 80 base attack but that is a trade evo. Additionally special/physical attack is based on move type this gen, dragon, dark, and ice are special. In gen 2 the introduced sneasle a dark/ice type with 95atk and 35spec atk, meaning its STAB moves use its worst stat. It does have the signature move beat up which basically has every party member attack once using their physical attack stat which atleast uses its main stat, but yeah. Gamefreak is very bad at making pokemon sensible, usually crippling all the "cool" ones with either shallow/garbage move pools or nonsensical base stats. Onix should have atleast 70 atk and no more than 20 speed.

@@jasonreed7522 don’t forget how Purugly is a fat cat that is somehow faster than the Lati twins (112 vs 110), Vikavolt is slower than Caterpie (43 vs 45), and Eeveelutions that are not Jolteon, Espeon or Chlorophyll Leafeon are slow af at only base 65 (which is baffling given how Eeveelutions look like they should be fast)

It's nice to see you're spreading your wings and trying new things. I love your hardcore nuzlockes so im glad they're going to stay your primary focus, but it's always nice to see some other things every so often. If you're looking for a suggestion, maybe instead of limiting your nuzlocke by type, you limit by base stat total. Like hardcore nuzlocke rules, but you can't use any pokemon above 450 BST? Just a thought. Keep up the great work!

But... Garchomp kinda does. Not just Flygon but just about every Dragon type, & you have Flygon to thank for that. Everyone originally thought Flygon was a pseudo & to right the wrong they did, GameFreak made the next Pseudo a godlike Dragon & Ground type, same as Flygon's type, so in a way, Flygon paved the way for Garchomp's existence so I guess Garchomp might not exist without it's dad, Flygon.

Nice video! Have you ever tried a N type nuzlocke? It's basically an hardcore nuzlocke but after every major battle (from first gym to entering the league) you have to release/permabox a pokemon on your team, generally one that has already stayed in your team the longest and has played a big role in the last battle. A bit grindy perhaps but lots of fun!

Love all the content thus far, nuzlockes and otherwise. I recently did a Random Number Generator Gen 8 nuzlocke and it was a lot of fun. Basically the idea is that since some Pokemon are extremely uncommon (Ferroseed has a 1% encounter rate on Route 4 for example) you assign each available Pokemon in a route a sequential number and use a number generator to determine which one is your encounter. It was so much fun and I ended up using a ton of Pokemon I never encounter in my regular hardcore nuzlockes. Highly recommend trying it out!

I like this concept, especially the no wild Pokemon grinding. If you want to tweak the rules a little bit you could make it where have to start with the first form of the Pokemon, evolving it as the challenge progresses. To prevent long replays you could also allow yourself to rest at the last gym badge or hour of gameplay. Hope to see more content like this one
