About the dodging attacks and increased crit chance I thought It first started in the sun and moon games I remember it being in there after my toucannon survived a fatal hit with the friendship mechanic

The mechanic was split into a separate stat called affection in those games and it was boosted through using pokemonamie in xy and pokemon refresh in sun and moon, from lets go onward they rolled all the affection bonuses into the basic friendship stat

The only issue with these events on official hardware now is that they had to be downloaded from the now defunct WiFi service, where as the manaphy mission on the first ranger game is already on every cartridge and just needs to be unlocked

I wonder why so many people think the mechanic mentioned at 4:49 was added so late into the series, it was added with the X and Y games. Maybe it’s because you had to play pokemon amie first which was optional.

We actually began our channel as a way to stream games together while we had to spend time apart, the channel icon we use now was originally just a caricature I got made as a birthday present and since it was pokemon themed we started thinking of names that incorporated both pokemon and the fact that it's ran by the two of us, and doubleslap just hit right
