For some reason, this video just gave me an idea on how to defeat Ultra Necrozma. Get a Pokémon that can learn protect and toxic (like salamence) and a Mimikyu. Use toxic, get down to 1 hp with focus sash, switch to mimikyu. Disguise is busted. Switch to a Pokémon and sack it. Go back to the other Pokemon with protect and use protect. Then switch to mimikyu, and the disguise is fixed. Disguise is busted again, repeat. It’s similar to yours but I used mimikyu.

Probably already know this but for Gold and Silver(and their DS remakes) if you have Ho-Oh/Lugia(before clearing the main game)faint, you can rematch them at level 70 in the post game. Same with Giratina in Platinum. Have it faint when you fight it in the distortion world, and when you rematch it in the post game, it becomes level 70.

In Silver, you can catch Ho-oh after beating Lance and it's level 70. The same for Lugia in Gold.
