Massive metaphor time. 1:22 has a lone trumpet playing by itself, full of life and pride, somewhat like a child that grows into an adolescent when the trombone undertones come in. Then, when the music crescendos, the trumpet is joined by another one that harmonizes with it perfectly, symbolizing a spouse, and the other instruments, its friends and family. When the instruments fade away, it is like those friends around the trumpet are dying of old age, one by one, and then the second trumpet fades, and the rest of the song is the original trumpet's dying moments of peace and satisfaction about its life.

There could be another way to intrepret this Do you remember Jaern's battle theme with the trumpets? The music starts off with instruments that are slightly muffled but do not have a hard edge to them. It could be interpreted as beautiful, or lacking power, depending on who you are (Adam or Jaern). After a moment of change, of drums, a single trumpet continues the melody. This could symbolize a strong, powerful leader like Jaern. Other instruments follow suit, but slowly die out as trumpets replace them. This continues for quite some time, until the second change. The distinction is gradual, but the original instruments slowly replace the trumpets, until they return completely. Other elements could still be heard, almost signifying a blend of ideologies. Of course, all things end, and as this song loops, it could mean that a leader like Jaern may come to power again, but how the future may play out, only time could tell.

The real amazingness of this song is when it plays at the Pokémon League and in the Champion's room. A simple melody that marks the end of a journey, where you were an insurgent to the cults of Torren and defied so many odds. This tune is showing that this is finally the end, and you're almost there (not really). It was amazing when I heard this after Victory Road, and was suprised when hearing it one more time in the Champion's Room, right before the final battle. Well done.

If they were to ask for the age of the player, then decide if they can decide if they want to play the dark storyline, it may help quell that issue. It would be inline with traditional Pokémon games, and it would appeal with the younger generations whilst also speaking to veterans with its difficulty and story. Edit: They of course would be able to select which difficulty they would like.

This theme may very well be one of the best I've heard. Insurgence is an amazing game, with an amazing story and characters, and this theme reflects this as a whole. This theme marks both the beginning and the end of your journey, and I honestly tear up a bit while listening to this. It's the first piece of music you hear as you're going into the game, and it's one of the last you hear as well (not counting the postgame). Listening to this makes you realize just how hard you've worked to get to that point, and this is honestly something that's a bit lacking in the mainstream Pokemon games.

This game is fantastic. For a fan game it is surprising good. Deltas are what I wish Regional variants were like. They are drastically different from the original and there are tons of them. Regional variants only have a dozen or so. The story was phenomenal and the post game is great

This will always be the best theme with how it starts off as a soft nostaglic melody and slowly more instruments and melodies are added to with the main melody getting louder and more intense until *that* part when it's just the trumpets blasting and the instruments get more epic and grand. It's a perfecr symbolism for your journey through Insurgence, you start off alone, scared and confused with no memories of your past. You then meet Mew and embark on a journey as a Pokemon trainer, meeting more friends and pokemon along the way as you fight off the cultists that terrorize the whole region, foiling their plans. Soon after earning your final few badges, you manage to defeat a Cult Leader and cause the cult to be disbanded and that's when your place in history has been solidified, a hero whom managed to end one of the terrors threatening the region but it doesn't stop there, you continue to defeat the other Cult Leaders and eventually manage to defeat the Legendary Giratinna and save not just the region, but the whole world from certain doom. And yet you are still not done. You proceed to fight and win against the members of the E4, even the Champion and take his title, along with becoming a Timeless after that. At that point, you have truly become a legendary hero that shall be remembered not just in the region's history, but by the world as well.

God I played Insurgence like 6 or 7 years ago when I was still a kid and I still remember the main menu theme's melody... Searched "pokemon insurgence ost" out of curiosity and found this and some other ost's of the game. Most areas themes might be taken from main pokemon games, but the cult leaders themes and gym leaders themes are original and amazing. Idk if you're the one who made those themes but if that person is reading this thank you for making my favourite fangame even better.

The reason insurgence is good. Is because the story isnt just like any other game where you are a kid and you become the strongest trainer. In this you are literally the auger. You have to protect the city. And the whole new species of pokemon leave a great mystery. But the topping feature is how unique the music is. After playing the game i still remember every part of it due to the music.
