Me watching this same Aspitpiay video two years after it originally came out. Every time I watch Mikey’s videos, new or old, I still always laugh, get excited, and have fun watching his videos. It just never gets boring! I could be watching a Ultra Moon play through that Mikey did 2-3 years ago multiple times and I won’t get bored. Whenever I hop on KZbin you are one of the first channels I check to see if there are any new vids. Goes both ways really, doesn't matter if the Pokemon have a great moveset, awesome stats and great typing, some pokemon you just dislike with a passion. I personally like small and cute pokemon like Eevee, Minccino or Pachirisu, while I tend to dislike monstrous or buff pokemon like the genies, Machamp or Guzzlord. I frequently use cute and weak pokemon in my teams, sometimes not even letting them evolve.

Most pokemon games since the 3DS era have been mediocre at best, looking at how optimized and rushed the games are makes it kind of obvious, yet we keep buying them. BDSP released with as many game breaking bugs and softlocks as the first GBC games, and in Legends Arceus you can see mountainsides popping out of existance when you step a bit too far away, or pokemon moving at 5 fps if you're far away enough. We're not hard to please, we just want the developers to take their time and make a decent game, is that really that bad now? Sword and Shield had a fucking computer mouse in the middle of the screen for the credits scene, for fucks sake

9:47 "what was everyone's first shiny?" Mine was a shiny Golbat in Ultra Moon. I found him when trying to get a Mimikyu in the run-down mall place. My reaction had me screaming my lungs into oblivion and catching a Pokemon that I usually would've not cared about for once made me so goddamn happy. Golbat (who I called Dazzlewing) was then with me 'till the end of the game, even helping me fight the elite four. In honour of Dazzlewing, any shiny I get shall have the "Dazzle" part of his name put in, as I forgor 💀 I had him and wiped my data, leading me to wanna punch myself.

It also means that Water types that have better special attack (and ground types with better physical attack that can't learn High Horsepower, such as Golem) are kinda screwed, since the only special Water moves with decent power are Water Pulse and Hydro Pump, one of which is relatively weak and the other is inaccurate.

Legends: Arceus Is my first Pokemon game. I was running around first area fighting Alphas for items and xp while working on my pokedex before moving on to the second area and I ran into an alpha Scyther and at last second decided to catch it since I wanted a Kleavor Alpha for my team. When I went into my pastures to see its stats I learned it was actually also a shiny. My first ever shiny is an Alpha Scyther that I almost knocked out.
