You know what? Barely anybody has tried hardcore nuzlockes of the Let's Go games. Usually this is because they're considered easy, but once you strip away the protective layer of stat-boosting candies, this game becomes a whole load harder due to the lack of EVs, diverse sub-typings, and lack of encounters. Can we get through this nuzlocke with only Flying types? Find out now!

1. Fainting = Death
2. Can only catch one Pokémon on each Route (Species Clause)
3. No items in battle (held items okay)
4. No leveling past the next gym leader/E4 (at the START of the battle)

I would love to see more monotypes of black/white, as some of them done on youtube by other youtubers use the dream world mons which tend to be a little overpowered compared to the gen 5 only mons that make the game so unique (such as Beldum for psychic/steel). Great video and looking forward to seeing more in the future!

I would love to see a rock only scarlet/violet run (with teal mask, and maybe indigo disk) as its the only type with no specialist trainer (obviously there is the ex gym trainer and Geeta has tera rock) Oh, and you can use tera types but you can only tera rock.

honestly scyther's naturally fast enough that you can expect to just outspeed almost everything without Agility, except maybe Aerodactyl. Which makes all those extra turns of setup seem pointless, but I guess you didn't really need that 4th move slot anyways.

26:00 They most likely forgot that Poliwrath even existed, considering how the only viable fighting type pokemon (fighting move wise that isn't bloody Submission) was Hitmonlee. Considering that it had ALL OF THE NON SUBMISSION FIGHTING MOVES, Poliwrath would be more of a water type than anything.

Still, it's the principle of giving him a Primeape and Poliwrath that would've made more sense. Then that frees up Chuck in Gen 2 to not have Gen 1 mons and at least consider putting Heracross on that team.

I mean, it's against the spirit of the nuzlocke, but you could lower friendship by going on fainting runs with the whole party. Each death lowers friendship value, so it would get rid of the friendship nonsense. It's a little strange, but it will make the run more challenging.

An electric type monotype nuzlocke would be really interesting in lets go as if you pick pikachu it could show how much easier/difficult gamefreak made lets go compaired to the first yellow and eevee for how difficult it would be without starter pikachu.

Because there's no EVs in this game. The selection is also much lower than other games. Thirdly, the AI is actually somewhat more intelligent in this than in either RBY or FRLG. It really is the hardest Kanto game if you restrict yourself from using stat/species candies, people just have this pre-conceived notion that this game is baby's first Pokemon.

Toxic from vileplume will guarantee to hit as from some reason i think from later gens if a poison type pokemon uses toxic its 100% even in the invulnerable turns

Sand Attack and evasion/accuracy strats aren't as bad as people make them out to be, it is just players are stubborn babies that refuse to use moves that counter these strategies like accuracy bypass moves and switching out. Especially accuracy strats as they are incredibly risky to set up.

Bruno could have had five unique fighting types simce Gen 1 (Machamp, Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, Poliwrath, Primeape). He doesn't because Gen 1 is just barely being held together by pure luck. I love them, they were where I started but they are and always have been a real mess.
