Jay the charizard 901 Yeah but that's the anime. They say stupid things (most of the time). Cilan says: "Axew landed a Critical hit!" when Axew used *Dragon Rage* . Also, they know in the anime that Pokémon have specific genders. Most of the Pokémon have both genders whilst some have...no gender.

All these pokemon Megas could be gym leaders/elite 4 new aces when you rebattle them. This also helps their case Mega Golem - Brock Mega Starmie - Misty Mega Raichu - Lt Surge/Rival (if you picked eevee) Mega Persian - Giovanni Mega Jynx - Lorelei/ ~possibly Sabrina Mega Dragonite - Lance Mega Eeveelutions - Your rival (if you picked pikachu. I think it’ll be the eeveelution that’s strong against your starter pick of either charizard/venusaur/blastoise). Mega Machamp - Bruno Mega Hitmonlee/Hitmonchan - Fighting Dojo in saffron/ ~possibly Bruno Mega Arbok - Jessie/Koga/ ~possibly Agatha Mega Weezing - James/Koga All the important characters that don’t have brand new Megas in Let’s Go (Agatha, Sabrina, etc) already have Megas (Mega Gengar, Mega Alakazam, etc). A lot of people say they shouldn’t add Megas to some evolutions but not others. For example, giving Kanto eeveelutions Megas but not the other eeveelutions. However, pokemon already does this, such as giving slowbro a mega but not slowking. So that argument is invalid. I must say adding Megas will keep this game fresh and also better introduce the newer casual players to them. Will we really get new mega forms, or maybe brand new different forms, and what about z moves? It’s cool to speculate.

They pushed the starters so much (outfits, hairstyles, increased stats) that they wouldn't give their evolutions special treatment imo. If they would, they would let you evolve your starter

Mr. Snorlax YT Snorlax doesn't need a mega. It's already good. GameFreak has given some strong pokemon megas and they didn't even need it. Looking at you Salamence. Sableye amd Mawile made actual sense. They needed it.

As of corocoro magazine it has been confirmed that mega evolutions will be in the Let's Go games, so it seems entirely more probable now that these pokemon will be receiving megas!

Some of these pokemon are quite important though. Think about it, Misty's starmie, Lance's dragonite, Giovanni's Persian, you get hitmonlee or hitmonchan gifted, and the evolutions of the mascots. But I can't explain the others

In my opinion, I'd love Mega Evolution to return in a new style for these games. If we do get Mega Evolution, I really, _really_ want to customize what my Keystone is in (not just a Mega Ring or Mega Bracelet). Trainers (such as), Steven and Wally got to customize what they put their Keystones in. Steven had the Mega Pin and Wally had the Mega Pendant. You got to see them with their customised Keystone whilst you're stuck with your Mega Bracelet. I really want to customize what my Keystone is in like other trainers. I also really, really, _really_ want to see an animation of you using your Keystone. In Sun and Moon, they didn't even do that! They could have made the trainer get the Keystone out of their bag and hold it up to Mega Evolve their Pokémon. ....oh? This is about Mega Evolution being in the Let's Go games? Whoops! Guess I went the other direction. My mistake! Well... Dragonite-ite could be the name for the Dragonite Mega Stone. And, are there any Mega Evolutions for Alolan Forms? Yes I agree that Flygon and Dragonite should get Mega evolutions as they have the potential to be threats in the competitive tiers. Also, I'm interested to see what Game Freak could come up with, design-wise. If I were to be unpredictable, Mega Archeops as that Pokemon needs a buff and if not a new ability, then a mega evolution that would have a different ability. I can imagine the Pokemon looking like a mixture of a dragon, dinosaur and a bird of prey.

New megas would be good, Gen V needs more megas. But it might be something new altogether. Maybe it ties into something special that could happen with your partner eevee or pikachu. They could introduce a new form or mechanic altogether. i was thinking something like hms but that might not be the case. Maybe you could encounter regional variants of said pokemon but they are from other regions. course if Mega jinx was a scrapped one they could revisit it which could mean that in the post game we could see a mega flygon cause i think flygon was one of the designers choices to have a mega but couldnt do it cause artist block or something. i would like to still see z moves so maybe these pokemon could have special Z moves that work out of battle. i still stand by my choice that if eevee gets a new evolution it would be a strong normal type. Arbok and weezing are Jessi and James signature pokemon and Giovanni has his persian. Bruno has the fighting types, Lance has his Dragonite etc, so it could be a story thing. Theres a lot they can do and we only know the surface of the game. it could be anything. Im not sure when the original trademarks were instated but it could just as well be that those pokemon were trademarked first and they are just renewing them in increments Id call a Dragonites megastone something like dragonitetite lol.

First of all, I don't like the mega evolution artwork in your thumbnail, it could be done better (no one knows if eevee's get mega in general, let's wait) my wishes for mega evolutions are: 1. Mega Luxray, one of my favourite starting pokemons i get along with the whole adventure. 2. Different design for Mega Absol, he is my alltime fav, but I dislike his mega evolution as it could have been better. it feels not like a mega evolution for me. (or make a split mega evo like charizard X and Y, that would be nice) 3. More megas to underpowered, weak and rarely used pokemon. Everyone needs some love :) Addition: I would love it if the next big pokemon game could have mysteries like ruins of Alph, maybe a special story for unown (possible special evolution?). Generally, I always adore if pokemon games have deep stories and complex puzzles, it is better to solve these to get to legendaries rather than giving them for free in events.... (Regi-bro's for example. but without unnecessary braille language which many don't understand. it did'nt make sense because a blind person couldn't solve this, they would have to look at the screen to see the dots.... yeah you get it.)

Well, I'm thinking Arbok, Weezing, and Persian are likely candidates for Megas, belonging to Jessie and James, and Giovanni respectively. I thing Golem and Machamp might be likely too, seeing as how Gengar and Alakazam have Megas, and those four are kind of a set. It's possible they could be bringing back a Mega Jynx. However, I don't think Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan would get Megas, because what about Hitmontop? And I don't think Mega Eeveelutions are gonna happen, or Mega Raichu. As for Dragonite... It's Mega Stone would be Dragonitite or something similar, so please no.

K I N G S A L T I'm guessing you understand the idea of a normal trademark that protects the rights of someone's intellectual property, these expire over time and need to be renewed to prevent them being added to the public domain (usable by everyone) or claimed by another company so 'retrademarked' is just renewing an active trademark

I guess we can get these for Megas, nothing to stop Persian. Golem,. and Raichu from having 2 Megas like Mewtwo and Charizard... but your starting Pikachu and Eevee aren't supposed to evolve, so having Mega Raichu, Flareon, Jolteon, and Vaporeon is almost mocking the players. I honestly wonder if there will be something new (Especially to keep Pikachu and Eevee rebalanced for t he late game)

Yeah no. We won't get Mega Evolution Persian, Golem have Alolan Forms and thus they won't get a Mega (This is the reason we didn't see Crystal Steelix in Alola). There was a trailer that showed Mewtwo (Which is post-game), but the trainer didn't have a bracelet. Raichu and the Eeveelutions won't get Mega's, because its already confirmed the starters cannot evolve (Meaning they are getting boxed when Mega Evolution is in the game, basically making the starter concept pointless). Starmie - Misty Raichu - LT Surge Hitmonchan and Lee - Fighting Dojo Jynx - Lorelei (Why would they trademark Jynx if Slowbro already has a Mega, while they haven't done so with Gengar, Alakazam, Charizard and Venusaur for the four remaning Gym Leaders). Golem/Machamp - Bruno Arbok and Weezing - Jessie and James Every Gen 1 Pokemon will get trademarked eventually before the games come out, because the trademark ends in 2019 (I believe you need to re-trademark every 6 years, although can depend on the country). Lets assume we get Snorlax in the next bunch. If that happens, Mega Evolution is basically debunked, since i doubt we get Mega's on Pokemon that have Exclusive Z-Moves.
