You can’t count the hits from the pack, you have to count the pack price. That said, it’s still not worth it.

Yeah it wasn’t too bad considering what I have seen. Would have been more valuable to keep packs sealed, but I enjoyed opening them. Was good for a one time thing. Definitely wouldn’t purchase again.

I've got one of these incoming and honestly I think I'm just going to keep it sealed. I don't think I've seen enough of them cracked open reaching even the value they cost to buy right now. But I have seen some with graded Base Set Charizards, Base Set packs, Rocket packs etc so there are some good ones out there it seems! I think Rare Candy are asking too much for them, and Leon Hart and the company probably aren't doing the greatest job of promoting them (there was one pretty horrendous opening video Leon put up which might have since been deleted? And also they don't providing seedings for the good hits and packs ratio, which I think need to be improved). But like you say! It's a gamble. Everyone will have their own experience and take on these. I appreciate you making the content for us all to watch 👍

Man almost every single one of these rare candy boxes I've seen have been trash. You even got better packs than most people I've seen. It's crazy they charge around $300 for these and I have yet to see someone even break even on one. I get mystery boxes are a gamble, but it just seems no one is really getting their value back. Even the ones Leonhart showcased on his channel were absolutely terrible. Leonhart was the one that got me back into the TCG about 6 years ago, but I've lost about as much respect for him as I did unlistedleaf. Thanks for putting a public service advisory out there for these. When they first came out I was considering picking up a few, but now thanks to you and the other people who've opened them on their channels I won't be touching these.

He charged people ungodly amounts of money for like 3 Celebrations packs, and said he was going to be opening them while it ended being like 3 random nobodies in California. That and the fact he completely goes over the top on every little pull he gets now. He used to not be so bad.

That’s why I said I should have kept them sealed. Still not the value back for what I paid, but not every mystery box is going to get you the same or better return. Just glad I didn’t get any new packs from the past few years. I did better than others but not better than all. Hopefully this video and the comments help others make an informed decision on whether to risk it or not. One and done for me.

I have looked into them, but haven’t picked any up yet. Perhaps that will be one I try. I do have 5 Pokerev Mystery Packs on the way, which work out to about the same cost I paid for this Rarecandy box. Will be a nice to compare what I got from this and what I pull from them.

Agreed. Like I said in other comments. Wanted to give this a try one time and also help others to make an informed decision. I would recommend just picking up a pack or two of vintage(depending on the sets you want) for the same price as this.

I never once said anything bad about Leonhart. I simply said I wouldn’t be buying anymore of his mystery boxes and hopefully help others to make an informed decision on whether they should buy one or not based on my box and the ones I talked about on stream. you were a good sport but leonhart is actually scamming, mystery boxes should always land very near or at sticker value as a base level or over value as a “hit” box. i’ve watched countless of these opened and only 1 person saw over value while everyone else was at 175ish loss undervalue usually about 100$ worth of product if the packs stayed sealed. the whole situation has shown leonhart to be actually kind of a scumbag character and barely anyone is talking about it
