This case is interesting because they have unreleased content. And a basically finished but unpolished game set to release next year. Nintendo can sue, and the hacker will release the unreleased content and that will impact Nintendo’s financial situation. I can see them waiting until Gia (Gen 10) gets released for them to take action.

But Gamefreak sometimes tests ideas for the future games by incrementally implementing them in earlier games, maybe even in particularly noticeable ways (such as Ride Pokemon in XY and Ride Pokemon in SM, or the Wild Area in SwSh and the open world map in SV or PLA). The mind control thing has always appeared similarly odd to me and I'm certain this is yet another test for some future game, but the question is what kind of game?

@@boredfangerrude8759 there like what over a dozen spin offs already mystery dungeon series the ranger series all the mobile games poke Park detective pikachu series the gba puzzle spin off or whatever conquest stadium 1 and 2 collusium and xd snap and more coming. also like I said no matte rhow much money you have if you can't use it its useless they can't just hire littarally anyone to make a game it has to be people that understand and are connected to the the brand specifically mostly Japanese people,Japanese people who know specifically code and are game developers not as abundant as you think. even if they manage to hire all those people they still have to be on the same page despite many different ideas so hiring too many people is still a no go. also hiring ain't fast or easy it requires time and tests and shit and if someone ain't good enough they don't get the job also also there are other company's hiring also also also even if they get all those people to make a fan game than what all those pokemon need animations animations take time to make not all staff are animators and there are over a thousand mons now. even if you use less then a quarter that's hundreds of mons who need multiple unique well made animations, also that still leaves shit like new game mechanics that are different but somehow still pokemon with music art and story and other visuals to be done and even then fixing inevetible errors and playtesting further. oh did I mention sometimes a feature that required alot of hard work doesn't end up working aswell then you have too spend who knows how long coming up with something that does work also despite pokemon being a billion dollar company not all that money goes to the games employes have paychecks the higher ups have big ones. They also need money to make all the merch they sell which makes them most of there money mountains upon mountains of merch, did I mention that merch doesn't grow in magic factory trees and needs matirials and people and transport to be made and some are inevitably destroyed. the anime needs funding for all the animators voice actors and so much more,everything needs mountain's of advertisement and that's not even everything the pokemon franchise has do research before making claims on something so big.

Lol if gamefreak really wanted to make money they need to remaster to HD Gale of Darkness and make all the colosseum games purchasable and Rumble U. They can also make the older game boy and DS/3DS titles and all the things mentioned on the eshop to bring audiences to the older switch that are still using 3DS. That should compete with the emulators you’d think! If anyone needed a faithful remake is hg/ss let’s be real! They are lazy and don’t want to make that much money. Hope that changes with ZA onward. They also need to work on keeping their switch titles alive and not murder them like the DS/Wii U titles. Poke park/poke ranch need to return!
