Yes. 😂 But what made that scene ironically even funnier, is that throughout the very near end of the CRYSTAL CHAPTER, meaning it took THREE WHOLE CHAPTERS leading up to Crystal, where Red didn't even recognized yellow AT ALL. Ergo, the lil girl he saved. Thus, throwing yellow's existence completely under the radar of relevant importance to Red. 😂

To be fair for Ash/Misty when it comes to Serena. We know Serena loves Ash however Ash was pretty oblivious until the end of XYZ and even then it wasn’t clear from his side. That was pretty much the same with Ash/Misty however there are more moments that show Ash might have a crush on Misty from Kanto-Johto. Plus pretty much every girl traveling companion had a crush on Ash, Misty and Serena just had the most intense feelings for him.

They had to deny that was Misty because they want to continue Ash's journey and leave his future an open ending for wider possibilities. As if we just blindly gonna accept that shit excuse. I find it interesting that in most media, ash/red and misty were a thing. Honestly I don't think the ash and misty hints ended with her departure, because there was the handkerchief, the Japanese opening "spurt", ash keeping the fishing rod, etc, and those were all in the Japanese version. About her feelings post xy, I think they made a rule that no one can show feelings because in journeys the kiss between serena and ash wasn't even mentioned at all. so I guess they left it open ended

eh it kinda extended, for example in the Japanese version misty gives ash a handkerchief with a lunchbox which conveys love and passion, then the Japanese opening "spurt" there was a queen of hearts card that showed misty and delia (ashs mom) but still its sad it didn't go anywhere, the staff really can't remember/commit to an idea

I can really tell from this video that you dislike Misty (in a passive aggresive way) and ship SerenaxAsh and YellowxRed. But ultimately, you are wrong to say Misty was tragically lost from her love interest battles with Serena and Yellow. NOTHING has been confirmed yet. The future is left opened. The potential is limitless. They already decided not to give a canon love interest to Red/Ash for now, hence why SerenaxAsh was kinda blown out of water in Journeys and Yellow for years was no longer associated with Red anymore. It all goes back to square one. Any one of them could win Red/Ash in the future. Misty is the OG girl and look at at how in the anime she was given so much respect by being the last girl to accompany Ash on his last journey. They didn't forget the OG girl. Instead, Serena's meeting with Ash on Ash's final season was underwhelming instead. My point is, it is unfair to say something like Misty lost to Yellow and Serena yet. It is an ugly disrespect to her.

In fact, he never even interacted with yellow throughout the majority of her dumb chapter. 😂 And to add insult to injury, Red didn't even know yellow's REAL gender until the very near end of the CRYSTAL chapter. So all that time he thought yellow was a boy. Where's the build up? Ohhh, right. You mean the ship tease where their pikachus got together without Red knowing yellow was the girl he saved all that time. Quite the important character. 🤣 P.S. Red x Blue (♀️) had WAY more development, TWO YEARS after Red became champion and started hanging out with his og friends to be exact. To which, yellow is not a part of. 🙂

When Misty left the Pokemon series after Season 5/Season 6. I used that opportunity to ship Misty with May. Or start reading fanfiction stories involving Misty on her own adventure. That was how I used the situation when Misty originally left the Pokemon series back in the day. However as the years passed, the Pokemon anime never felt the same without her, until Serena turned up in Pokemon XY series and I found that something special in the Pokemon anime once again for a brief 3 season period until Serena left the series. By that point, I knew the routine, as soon as a Pokemon Waifu you love to ship Ash Ketchum with appears in the series, you enjoy them for the brief period of seasons you get time with them. And when they leave the series and a new Pokegirl comes into the series, you either go to the fan fiction or you rinse and repeat for the next Pokegirl.
