I have my doubts - I believe we'll have them in Gen 10; because Johto (Gen 2) had their remakes during Gen 4; Hoenn (Gen 3) in Gen 6 and Sinnoh (Gen 4) in Gen 8. Kanto is the exception to the rule... but the only one. And no, I don't count B2/W2 nor US/UM into it - B2/W2 were much more sequels to B/W (like XD to Colosseum) and US/UM were... reboots? Like, some kind of expansion inside the story; upgrading and correcting it? It's hard to describe, but you get what I mean, right?
