true, but then the handful of tricky main game fights like the false dragon titan, arven, final nemona, and the professor would become enormous roadblocks. not even considering the game stops pulling punches in the dlc, especially dreaded den kieran, the 4 phase ogerpon battle, the bb elite 4, champion kieran, and terapagos being absurdly strong

Power creep actually means there are very few eligible pokemon in later gens for the 400 BST. Even Spidops has 404 BST and thats the lowest fully eveolved mon from gen 9 😂 so I'd need to adjust the limit i think

Though double in my defense bugs as a word often (incorrectly) refers to not just insects but most lil creepy crawlies, hence the fun meme of "shrimps is bugs" which is not true but i love it anyways

I really don’t think you need to worry about Katy’s pastries. You can see her wearing gloves all the time; her hands are clean. Not to mention, why would Bug-types be any less sanitary than any other type? I’d rather let a Tarountula touch my food than, say, a Wooper. (No hate to Wooper; I love Wooper, but given how muddy they always are, I wouldn’t want one to touch my food.)

Overcoming phobias is a difficult process that can take a really long time. Even logically knowing that mantids aren’t dangerous, they’re going to struggle to control the fear response.

@tsifirakiehl4250 theres a difference between a phobia and using said phobia as an excuse to insult and justify unnecessary hatred towards a literal animal that categorically couldn't have done anything to deserve said hate. It's an uncomfortably common pattern with various "scary" animals that often leads to said animals being killed based simply on appearance or making humans uncomfortable, which has genuinely devastating consequences depending on the animal targeted. (Ocean ecosystems often struggle to recover after the mass murder of great white sharks - a very ecologically important predator - bc of Jaws)

Yanno, I've always liked that Nemona is actually an already accomplished trainer to a certain degree and she's continuing to train new pokemon and improve, and that she's having battles against newer trainers with her newer team to help both grow. It kind of defies that old joke about having a level 100 Gyarados and getting challenged by a route 1 bug trainer you snuck past when you were there for the story.

Yeah, I love what they did with Nemona. She’s effectively completed the game and gotten bored with always winning, so she’s using underleveled teams to train the player into a real challenge for her. That’s a really fun twist on the classic rival character.

The hard thing about Scarlett and Violet is you can absolutely see the potential. A few really remedial fixes, not even fixing bugs just fixing design, would DRASTICALLY improve them both for normal play and challenge runs.

I'm just appreciative to FlygonHG as most other challenge runners I've seen stop at the disappointing champion, despite my opinion that the real champion of the region is Nemona (has the title, victory road ends with her, actual decent team). Not only did you do that, but the other two roads as well. Can always count on quality content!

The FlygonHG cinematic universe continues to expand. Anyways, the thing about Scarlet and Violet is that if you don't already like them, it'll be hard to go through them over and over again. I think you should treat these games like you do with Gen 7--only play them every once in a while. I feel like if any Pokemon game is a candidate for burnout, it's these ones, so don't force yourself to try to play them. (P.S. I am typing this as a ghost. I did not survive the test.)

We just haven't had a whole lot of bad moms in this series which is a shame when there's so many terrible fathers. Though I wouldn't count the robot because she's not Arven's mother. Maybe if she builds a little robo-Arven as a companion wherever she ended up, or if she's able to return and they agree to see each other in a parent and child relationship, but as it stands the robot has no children.

I wish you didn't hate these games. I definitely hate the graphical errors, but these were some of the most fun games in the series, in my opinion. The "natural weather" being set at the start of battle makes sense, though it shouldn't fade visually. It's one of the weird things that happens when time runs the same in and out of battle, which should definitely not be the case. Good video, though, as always. Your ad transitions are the best, Poppy's a cutie, and somehow your videos draw me in the whole time, even though I know the story. Lol
