I may be a bit late, but these ideas are very good. I fully believe you’ll cover more themes in due time, so I’ll throw my suggestion: Champion Nemona, I.e. after you beat the champion as that is when she goes all out. Putting everything she has for the grand finale, a fight between equals!

I've heard some theories that part of why the professor became so obsessed with their machine was they fell into a depression following their partner leaving and wanted to create a perfect paradise for their family. Either way, they left their son behind and deserve a boot to the head

im pretty sure the big blocked off area is the kalos region, if thats the dlc area you're talking about, *maybe* Sada or turo depending on what game you have or which one you have defeated, they could be there.

@@opheliahuuli please let this be true. I've also been thinking it's Kalos, and seeing as terrestalizing is similar to Mega Evolution, maybe they're researching it with Professor Sycamore. It would be fun to see him again too lol

Paldea is based of The Iberian peninsula, which is basically spain. and in the top right corner there is a connected country. so the only thing that might be true is that kalos is connected to paldea. it should be kalos in the DLC. also cant wait for the kalos region pokemon too. "France and spain share borders making paldea the first few regions that have been connected since the first few generations of pokemon."
