Then me: Um actually, the 1611 Edition and original King James Edition both included those books, just labled under the Apocryphal section at the end of the book. This is an attestment to King James' dedication to accuracy because he included the books of the Catholics even though the Spanish (who were Catholics) had tense relations with England for centuries simply due to their Protestantism. P.S. not trying to start a religious argument, just stating something that is often overlooked
@Snow_Fire_Flame9 ай бұрын
@@williambenton9042No, it didn't. Or more specifically, the KJV included the Christian Apocrypha, but Enoch stayed a Jewish work considered outside the Christian deteruocanon, and was barely accessible / known in Europe in that age. Fuller manuscripts were put into wide distribution only centuries later, so no, Enoch was not in the KJV. King James himself barely had anything to do with the translation, it was mostly taken from Tyndale's translation (and Tyndale was executed by the British Crown!). Including the Apocrypha had nothing to do with accuracy, but rather just tradition that it should be included and That's The Way It's Always Been. And while relations with Spain were indeed tense and inflected by religion, the English Reformation was less than a century old, so these tensions were ALSO comparatively recent - the order of decades, not centuries.

Plus Pokémon Go, technically (never heard of Let's Go, is that what th e mobile game is called fully?)
@killroy4583 жыл бұрын
@@ajsparx4133 Let's Go was the Gen 1 remakes on Switch. (Let's Go Eevee and Let's Go Pikachu) and i would argue that you do start with a typical starter pokemon in GO because one of the first things you do is catch a charmander bulbasaur or squirtle

Just want to celebrate that I guessed T2 off the second level of pixelation. I'm sure there are many who got it at level one. Well done to those glorious nerds.

Absolutely love the way she says scared and angrily "what the fuck was that" after we heard Nina's audio. Also as soon as it registered what it was all of the hair on my body stood on end in a wave from the base of my skull to my feet. Truly hated that. Thanks Tripp!

I don't know why, but TJ looks like a dude that usually wears glasses and just switched to wearing contacts.

Um, Actually. The lines of Nina are from Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and not from Fullmetal Alchemist, as was mentioned. In the Original Fullmetal she talks to her "Big Brother" and reminding Edward that "He Promised that he would play."
@Tomokaar13 жыл бұрын
This is a correct correction however, the second part is incorrect as she (iirc) did these things prior to the daddy’s hurting line as that is in response to Ed beating the shit out of him.
@Illiastar3 жыл бұрын
The lines were taken from when Scar assaulted Shou Tucker, and not the Elric beatdown. Though after the beatdown she did beg them to fulfill their promise to play. I lost a piece of my soul in rewatching the scenes to make sure. You Monsters.

At least you didn't have Nina saying "Big Brother" that's the line that killed me in the series... That and what happened Maes Hughes.

That FMA soundbite was even more painful without the context. Ooouuuch, my heart. That third time they played it really was too much, my chest was clenching and my eyes watering.

Are we really counting Nina as a pet? She was fused with Alexander but she’s still his daughter. Shou being a monster doesn’t mean we have to be.

You know, I can see the counterpoints, but I like the idea of having a stash of cards for rewards. I mean, it means that one the kids know the reward is there, and can choose to earn it or not, and I think it show confidence that the kid will choose to be helpful.
