I can explain the red gimmick for solagleo and lunala. Solgaleo: red giant Lunala: blood moon And upon further inspection, shiny Necrozma is based on the north star. Most of the images I look at depict it as a blue star.

+Robis Cruz No, it isn't. It's useful for two reasons; 1. Scanning the code lets the player search for its habitat. This is useful for those elusive five percenters that some people may have never seen. 2. Scanning 10 codes allows the player to use Island Scan. Maybe keep your rude assumptions to yourself next time, hm?

Charmander and Pikachu HD YT Actually you can input Pokemon's mega form into your pokedex if you have their mega stone. Mega evolve that pokemon in battle and it will be input into your dex.

yea but you got island evevulup which not only makes level up but you can use drinks to increase certain ev's.

Once you get the power items, it is way easier to EV train, all you have to do is make the Pokemon that needs EV training hold a power item, find a specific Pokemon for chaining (SOS battles, look them up if you need to), and then take about 8 mins to KO about 15 of them (have false swipe to keep one alive). I took less time to do that then I did with Horde battles in ORAS and I don't need the Vitamins (which for no damn reason they made more expensive) XD

Getting them is the challenge, as it costs a total of 96 BP to buy all six of them, and you'll have to earn that BP with blood, sweat, and tears. It's tough to get a team of competitively optimized Pokémon for earning BP in this game when the Destiny Knot and Battle Items cost a whopping 144 BP altogether.

I used my end-game team to grind out 48 BP for a Destiny Knot so I could start breeding, and I'm using Isle Evelup to EV Train. With Isle Evelup fully upgraded, Pokémon gain 4 EVs per training session, so with beans, a stat can go from 0 to 252 in 15 hours and 45 minutes.

What happens when you scan for a pokemon that isn't in the version of the game you have? I've heard Alolan Sandshrew and Vulpix are not both in one game.

The Pokémon *are* in the game, you just can't catch them

It'll act like in any other generation of Pokemon game. You can register them in the dex but you simply cannot catch them in the wild. You can trade for one. Sandshrew comes out in Moon and Vulpix comes out in Sun. Both games can register both Pokemon in the dex and both games will have NPC's using these Pokemon so that is out of the question.
