I think its there to look "realistic" or something the bend couldn't possibly mean something

There were people saying that the bent packs doesn't always work. I don't know what would've happen if you open the ones that are initially flipped when you pick them.

As someone who's done it, I can confirm that you see the back of the cards first and you have to tap them to flip them over.
