This was such a spectacular battle! It was so interesting seeing the similarities in their battle styles, perfectly exemplified by the Gyarados Bounce-off and the Battle of the Mega Charizards. This is seriously good stuff. Without a doubt, this is currently my favourite KZbin series!

My prediction from a few days ago remains correct so far. > I was rooting for Brock, but Sabrina probably wins. Then it is Sabrina vs Giovanni, and Giovanni wins. > Red wins vs Green, and we have Red vs Giovanni in the semi-finals. > On the other side, we have Blue vs Lance, which Blue wins, and Agatha vs Oak, which Oak wins, for a semi-finals battle of Blue vs Oak. In the end, we get the Red vs Blue that everyone wants.

SPOILER Was really looking forward to this one. Lance has the raw power, Blue the more versitile team. Really tough to predict who would win, I didn't see an advantage on either side,. However, my guess was on Blue. Balanced teams usually win over these thematic teams. Really happy how it turned out. Cool battle, and I feel like Blue really deserved it. One might say he was "lucky" with the Gyarados-situation, but then again: Lance tried a head-on confrontation with Gyarados v Gyarados, but with an intimidate-disadvantage. I think it's only right, that he lost out on it (even though it wasn't the intimidate that ended up making the difference).

*Before Thoughts Know what... Imma say Lance. That Dragonite is too clutch. Blue gunna give him a run for his money tho. *After Thoughts Started off nice. The Garchomp vs. Rhyperier lead was dope. Mad that Lance missed the Hydreigon Switch-in vs. Alakazam. & Dragonite fainted too early to be clutch enough. Still, not upset by the results. This match was awesome.

You know what this introduction made me realize? Who was the Elite 4 members that Blue faced right before Red? Because Lance was the Champ, gets beat by Blue and becomes the 4th Elite member. But that means the first Elite 4 members got bumped out. So who did Blue face that we've never even heard of.

If I remember correctly, there was no champion position before Blue and Red crashed the league. Lance was the final elite 4 member and Blue would've become just that had Red not arrived so early after his win. The champion position was established afterwards
