If you're open to Rom Hacks, try Renegade Platinum. It is a harder version of Platinum with full dex and quality of life features that make it dead ass my favorite Pokemon game. Try a hardcore Nuzlocke there! It isn't as hard as Kaizo games or Radical Red so it is a great mix

So a while back I did a Lucario only nuzlocke and here's the easy way to obliterate this game: in nimbasa Pokémon centre a dude gives you 10 red shards, in driftveil city the move tutor can teach Lucario ice punch, this way the ground type gym's a cake walk so is the champion, flying type gym, and dragon type gym. Lucario also learns psychic so the fighting types are not too hard to deal with. You can teach Lucario dark pulse by the move reminder for 1 heart scale so the ghost and psychic type elite four members will be easily defeated. So technically you can very easily defeat this game with just Lucario

B2W2 on the other hand has 11 encounters making it a calmer run with only vespiquen, pinsir, and heracross added with all 3 only showing up, and heracross and pinsir being version exclusives. If it weren’t for the fact this video is also a B2W2 run I think the sequels would just be better overall while keeping the same charm and team as a BW run.

You could've gotten Earthquake on Excadrill in time for clay if you delayed the evolution until level 33. I'm not sure if there's anything in your rules about needing to evolve into a steel type as soon as possible, but if not that would've made Clay a little safer.

Wow I forgot how many insanely good steel types Black/White 2 has. Lucario, Excadrill, Magnezone and Metagross are all S Tier pokemon for Nuzlockes. Then Skarmory, Ferrothorn, Bisharp and Aggron for type coverage while also being really solid picks for the team.

I wanted to do a hardcore Nuzlocke, but I wanted to do something else than just a normal hardcore Nuzlocke, so I am currently doing a Pokemon Shield Hardcore Nuzlocke with only cold blooded Pokemon. So I can only use Pokemon based off of reptiles, bugs, and amphibians. Maybe you could do a hardcore Nuzlocke with other themes like with only dogs, or birds or something like that

Should have picked snivy so the rival has a type advantage over your team. Would have made those fights more interesting if you had to play around that. Overall good run. Would you consider carrying this on into the post game for the elite 4 rematch (and possibly some other post game stuff)? Can't remember if there are any more steel types post game but you have still got at least a full team of 6 thanks to skarmory in the box.

Steel-type leads can actually make Ghetsis such a pushover, it's hilarious. I did a P-only run of White 2 (I could only use Pokemon whose names start with P), and Pawniard was able to just set up with rock polish and swords dance before plowing through everything. Absolute MVP of the run right there.

Ferrothorn Jellecent was such a great defensive core they complemented each other do well with their typing with not only water grass but there secondary typing of ghost steel respectively. As well as there stats Jellicent with high Spdef and ferrothorn with high Def. I also like using Heatran with for a nice Fire,Water,Grass defensive core.
