@vincenzoditrolio6985 I know it's not quite canon, but it's still an officially licensed game and certain backstory aspects can probably be taken as such (while in-game events aren't canon), in Masters, they do refer to each other as friends. They do also explain their friendship a bit, but it really shouldn't have been up to the niche mobile game to do that nearly a decade later, y'know? They should have done it in XY.

@@youtube-kit9450 They also think he can change in Masters, meanwhile Lys is now more willing to wait for Sycamore and co. to try and solve things peacefully, but he makes it clear to the player that this is only a short reprieve and he's still willing to do anything to bring on his ideal world. It's even implied he brutally murders a pair of Rocket Grunts that were screwing with his team and jumped him trying to steal his Volcanion. (By boiling them alive.)

Mikey of Team Sky, if you're planning to visit Alola, I recommend either Moon or Ultra Moon; there's apparently a legendary that's a creature of the sky. Also, be very careful if you choose Ultra Moon over Moon, just in case Team Night Sky are there.
