I tried the new KZbin feature where you can timestamp, so if you have a question about what species something is you can just hover over the time bar and it'll say! let me know if that is helpful and you want me to use this in the future for other feeding videos

I know I said in a previous comment that i'd never keep a tarantula, but I can officially say you (and a couple other tranch-keeping youtubers) have inspired me; i'm considering getting one sometime in the near future! I'm thinking maybe a honduran/nicaraguan curly hair, since they're so cute and I hear they're usually chill and pretty hardy. If you have any thoughts or advice, i'd love to hear it!

Hi Kat! I just wanted to say that recently I got a pet spider. I got a tan jumping spider, or a Platycryptus undatus. I named her pixie because she’s quite small. She’s a wild caught specimen so I keep her in a 12 qt bin so it’s more space for her to think it may be the wild. Thank you for opening my eyes to the world of arachnids. No, I’ve never been afraid of spiders, but I didn’t ever thing of owning one. What do you think would be the best feeder for my little baby pixie?

Why do a lot of tarantulas go in a circle after they get their meal ??
@atlasthelilghostman47664 жыл бұрын
They’re usually laying down a strand of web, most likely to replace ground web that was damaged during the capture of their prey item. Another explanation that I’ve heard is that it protects their fresh meal from small pests while they are eating, but I’m not sure if it’s true. Also: Although it doesn’t really have connection to emotion, it’s fun to anthropomorphize pets, so many tarantula keepers call this behavior the Happy Dance.
