The way you use WP pecharunt reminds me of how Viz used Ting Lu, truly this thing does not have to be a one-dimensional wall. Excited to see how else you can creatively use this menace (before it gets banned next season lmao). Also, the inteleon set was nasty and unpredictable, and even if you did somehow predict it there's not a lot to deal with it on Uzi's side. Great game!

It's only UU on Smogon and every stat other than Defense is bad, so I don't blame anyone for the decision. It's just a little too good at doing what it does and has a really solid movepool.

It was very obvious a Pokémon with good typing, that has a move like malignant chain, with that ability, with nasty plot, with that defense stat, with parting shot, and with respectable speed, would overwhelm a number of “super-effective” lower tier mons. Understand what you are getting at, but this was a brutal oversight

@@majaco The Smogon tiers were used as a basis for this “low tier draft league” with OU Pokémon being banned from it. The thing with Draft League is that there are a lot of pokemon that do better or worse just by the nature of preparation being a thing, and knowing your opponents Pokemon before you battle. I can only assume the guys who designed the tiers thought Pecharunt would fall into that category of being manageable with preparation, but clearly we’re seeing now that’s not the case. It happens.

My point regardless was you have to restructure the tiers based off the available mons AFTER you selected what mons are allowed. Not based off how they do in Smog. Idrc, doesn’t make a difference for me, I just think it’s wild someone looked at that Mon and then looked at the available mons and thought “yeah Tier 2 will do.”

Only the lowest tier mons can Tera, hence the name Tera captain, and they must choose 3 different Teras to use throughout the whole tournament. I’m pretty sure (not 100%) that they need to run a move of the type they Tera to, hence why it’s Tera dark over steel.

Just checked the rules and the only restrictions are that only the lowest tier mons can tera, and at least one tera has to be STAB. Uzi might have wanted another way to switch into and deal with ghosts besides grimmsnarl
