played for a year before i actually caught a bird, which was a 2 star Moltres (still excited about it). Kinda sucks you can only use daily incense and have 15 minutes to possibly see one... if not maybe tomorrow?... They really hate on the older demographic that has things to do outside of Pokemon Go, i used incense everyday for 4 months while i was between jobs and never saw one of these birds, even at the areas i had seen them spawn before. Im all for the rarity but damn... would be nice if you had a larger window of time per a day to try and get one as weekends have become the only real time i can afford to do incense in viable areas.

I used a Masterball for each of the roaming Galarian birds. But the IVs were so _emphatically_ abysmal, I don’t think I’m going to ever use one again. It’s not worth it. Hopefully, they’ll be unable to flee if shiny. I have one of each. And they’re all a disappointment. :( Edit: I’m very glad to hear they won’t flee. At least that evens things out a lot!

I'm not gunna lie, the birds being the original colours actually disappoints me lol. I love the galarian articuno and moltres colours, now that they look like regular birds I'm honestly not that interested in their shinies. Just my own personal preference though

All I'm going to focus on getting shiny Zamazenta I already have a hundo Zamazenta on the Galarian legendry birds I prefer the regular over the shinys personally I feel like going after the shiny Galarian legendary birds people might as well be going after fancy versions of the Kanto legendary birds I already have Galarian Moltres and after catching it I tried doing my daily adventure incense hoping for Galarian Articuno eventually I quit doing it I don't remember when the last time I even did my daily adventure incense eventually I might try again but for now all I'm going after is shiny Zamazenta

You only need to have the dex entry in that game for the shiny to be transferable from HOME to the game, and for that dex entry you could just register any regular zamazenta, zacian etc.

I get them maybe once a week or so. A few times, I get two Galarian Articuno on the same Daily Incense window. If it’s any consolation, they all run away, every time. I only ever managed to get them all with a master ball for each. And their IVs were atrocious.

Who named this event? There aren't even any wild spawns from Galar. The only forms of Galarian Pokemon are rare finds off of 15 minute Daily Incense. This is an "event" to skip entirely
