I can do daily incense, maybe once in a great while get a Galarian bird, and be extremely frustrated when I never catch it, or I can ignore the daily incense. Either way, I never get a Galarian bird, and the only thing I miss out on is the extreme frustration. I feel like I can do without that just fine.

Impressed at your ability to range them right away. And 13+ spawns off drifting is also crazy. Pretty nuts encounter luck. You saw 2 articuno, 1 moltres, 2 zap in 22 days. I've seen about that many 90+ days (4 zap and a molt). But overall I would say "random" to catch seems like a more fair description than "hard".

I’ve been using my incense daily, and i’ve gotten three bird spawns. Zapdos has spawned twice for me, but it’s been soul crushing both times. Each time i tapped on them, it fled before i encountered them. However, i did end up catching articuno yesterday right before the zapdos disappointment

I first saw the articuno and then failed the catch, and when i returned to the normal screen, i saw zapdos, but i didn’t react fast enough and by the time i clicked on it i was too far away to open the encounter 😭. I caught articuno some other time i can’t remember when exactly it was rn lmao
