🤝 gen 2 is indeed the best gen, not just the mons but also the games! I had made a gen 2 trick room team a couple years back in gen 8, with magic bounce focus sash xatu and hitmontop lead, piloswine, life orb/sheer force steelix, specs water absorb Lanturn, and Bellosom for sleep powder shenanigans 😂

If I'm being completely honest, gen 2 is one of my least favorite generations. The pokemon designs aren't very good, a lot of them are really boring, and the games aren't that good either, even the remakes, they all suffer from having terrible pacing and level curve. For me the best generation is gen 3. It has the best pokemon designs of any generation, and the games, both originals and remakes, are really great.
