Everyone underestimates S&V because the prices are not that high for cards. But the illustrations in that set are undeniably fantastic. I predict in the next few years when the prices for these cards skyrocket, everyone is gonna be kicking themselves saying dang I should've opened S&V base when everyone was passing on it. That's why I have been making a point to collect it.

While I don’t really like the first product for that price I think people tend to really overlook S&V base. I think the set is one of the best base in a long time.

@ yeah. It’s cheap right now but I feel like paldea evolved is really overshadowing base and Paradox Rift too. Pretty soon you gonna be having YTbers calling it underrated and it’ll be up in price lol.

SV base is one of the best sets as far as art work and the pull rates are awesome

Not gonna lie, you are not giving SV enough credit. It’s probably the best set ever created, has really good artworks and pull rates. And is miles better than obsidian flames. That set only has charizard

The only redeeming quality about Scarlet & Violet base are the PLENTIFUL and AMAZING illustration rares and special illustration rares (especially the Gardevoir, Koraidon, and Miraidon). Don't forget about the Gyarados ex Tera full art that I've yet to pull. Such nice cards from an underrated set I'm sure will appreciate in the future because of the illustration rares in the set that are so DANG DIFFICULT to pull!!

Didnt really wanna give away my secret away Cuz. but its really not a secret. Scarlet & Violet Base is a great set if you can get some PSA 10 candidate Illustration rares in paticular. That armarouge illustration rare in a psa 10 is creepin up to $300. along with drowzee, riolu , and a handful more. honestly has the lowest pop for psa 10 for some reason. either hard to get a psa 10 on them or everyone is turning their nose up to the set therefore no one thinks they are worth grading

It's really surprising to see how the packs were just thrown in that Meddling Sparks box. I'd kinda expect that feom MJ Holding or Fairfield but that thing is an official TPCI product. Shocked, I tell ya. SHOCKED!!! While I agree S&V base shouldn't be in tins or collection boxes at this point (you can get pretty much any product from that set as a standalone purchase right now), I do think it is a really good set. Beautiful IRs and SIRs. I think it'll be fondly looked back upon as time goes on.

For 19.99 on sale at Target, the Paldean chests have been my favorite retail product of the YEAR!!!! I have opened a total of 13 of these at this new price point over the last two months. I have pulled an SIR from 11 of the 13 boxes!!!Then I pulled 2 SIR’s out of another box!!! Only one box did I get completely blanked! Absolutely amazed at the pull rates!
