The gym suggestion is hilarious. It works great in theory but most players aren't considerate when it comes to gyms. People get territorial about gyms. They'll be in it for a month, you knock them out, and they immediately leave their house and knock you out.

There's a reason for that weird split, most players have their storage like that because autocatchers only use normal balls and ultras are nice to save for high cp catches/events where you don't want to waste time going back to a pokemon that jumped from the ball (CDs, spotlight hours etc) Hope this helps :)

Best way of gyms is try to get 20. I know trainers attack multiple during the day, keep on that grind. When I go on a bus, I go to as many gyms as I can and try to reach 20. Also spinning the photo discs, gives poke balls. Do that grind if you are hardcore and go out a lot.

Sometimes just to spite the team mystic that dominates in my area, I leave their gyms alone for over a week and go in a different neighbourhood to knock someone out. Then if I feel like it I add as many Chanseys, Blisseys, Snorlaxes or fighting resist Pokémon as I can.

My gym strategy goes like this, I have my account and my daughter and brother have accounts too. Each of us are different teams. But we don’t kick each other out so that’s not the strategy… what we do is trade low iv Pokémon and if they become lucky or good iv, we keep them but if they are crap, we tag them as gym. And then when we drive around, we just always throw in the pokemon tagged as gym in as many gyms as we can. And then when other people kick them out, we don’t revive we just transfer. So basically dedicating crap Pokémon to try and get us coins without having to use up revives

Why would you recommend having evolution items for an event that only has a single Pokémon that needs an evolution item(Poliwhirl into Politoed)? The Dragon Scale, for instance, literally evolves Seadra into Kingdra. THAT'S IT. In the ENTIRE Pokémon GO Pokédex, it evolves ONE Pokémon! What do you have 10 of them for??

the 5425 is one of the best raid passes boxes there is. Very good preparation, bring those passes to a dialga/palkia raid day before the big event for even more chances of good ones (with the correct moves)

I really don’t like it when people give this advice of sharing gyms. It’s creates an entitlement to certain players and creates a toxicity to the local community. A few people in my local community have been called out that gyms don’t belong to anybody. The best way is just take as many as possible each day and get the coins in drips. Don’t rely on one gym for coins, that’s creates too much entitlement.

I found spatial rend to be a waste of candies during GoFest. I played in an area with a bunch of lures and was walking the entire time. Even between me quick catching and my auto catcher, I was still not able to catch everything in the area; there were just too many spawns.

metagross again then, its typing makes it 2x resist posion and be neutral to electric, plus great defensive stats amking it a good tank, and with toxtricity being poison type, psychic is super-effective against it. while its nowhere near as good as excadrill with its 3x resist to poison and 2x resist to electric, and 2x super-effective ground attacks, metagross is still very good, plus its good against gengar now and was good against venusaur and blastoise before and will remain good against future Gmax like haterene and garbador and laprass and dreadknaw and alcreme and even eternatus when we eventualy get that. so metagross is well worth the investment regardless

if you stack up a bunch of the quests at once, then compleat them all at the same time with the "beat one of each team leader" you can get a ton in your inventory at once. although with the new system of not having the rocket be a seperate reaserch and instead be integrated into a larger one, that might not be possible, or hopefully the need to keep reaserches on page 1 to stack them is gone
