​@Raichu159 they definitely weren't drip feeding for the first 2, if not arguably 3 years. We were on gen 5 by year 3, and since then it has been a drip feed. Heck we don't even have manaphy or phione (which is wack since we had the tours...) but they learned quickly at the rate they were going there would be no content. Now we are at a point where they honestly are going too slow in that they'll release a pokemon for one event, and then it's shiny the next.

Something isn't right here. You can only catch dynamax eligible pokemon from the dynamax raid, but you can only use them to fight the dynamax raid. How does one go about being able to do the first raid?

From the leaks, there is a chance that Dynamax Pokémon can spawn outside of the Power Spot - which is how I assume you’ll be able to get D-Max Skwovet and D-Max Wooloo. Then, you’ll probably take these to battle the three D-Max Kanto Starters

Reason why I said there’s a chance for Dynamax Pokémon to spawn, is because of the other more likely occurrence to see at Power Spots: Max Particles, and you’ll be collecting them almost like you do Zygarde Cells, except they’ll be around the Power Stop and not at the end of any sort of Route.

I think he just explained it poorly. What I think he meant to say is you can use any Pokemon to battle these Max Pokemon, but can only Dynamax Pokemon caught from these Max battles. And you'll only be able to Dynamax a Pokemon in Max Battles. Can't blame him for getting it wrong tho, that just sounds like a mouthful. Niantic needs to do a better job explaining this.

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that Niantic would make Dynamax battles needlessly complicated. It sounds less like trying to add more strategy to the game and more like unnecessary changes from the main series. Requiring Dynamax Pokemon to battle Dynamax Pokemon is just stupid. And of course they're in-person only. It just seems like a needless way to limit a new feature for a lot of players, especially when most players would probably be more interested in Gigantamax forms. They'll hopefully change it down the road, if only to make the feature more accessible for the player base, but that might be too optimistic. At least I can finally get the Galar starters in Pokemon Go.

I think the max particles will work like rare candy, where you can choose what pokemon gets the max particles. But they can only be used on those 5 pokemon that get to dynamax.

There's 2 things I don't like so far about this season, 1) moving the showcases from ending on a Tuesday night to ending on a Wednesday night, because I have committments on a Wednesday night so now can't check on my showcases at the last minute to make sure I'm still first or swap things to win. 2) The introduction of a little cup edition of Halloween cup as last year I really enjoyed 2 weeks of Great league Halloween cup which allowed me to hit legend for only the 2nd time so having it for only 1 week is annoying. HOWEVER, aside from those relatively small things, it looks like a pretty hype season!

TIPS : you can complete the galar starter in 1 day by using primal groudon which give you extra candy for catching grookey and scorbunny, dreepy despite being rare spawn, it will appeared in your radar when you dont have it,the nearby radar always detect the the unregistered mon as long it near the pokestop that appeared in your game screen, green incense also spawn event mon even rare spawn one (daily incense mostly spawn event and random mon)

If they're more difficult than Raids and you can only do them in person, I think some players with fewer local friends will struggle (or more solitary players who remote in). but i assume the in person only will be lifted at some point, once they've ironed out more of the kinks.

Power stops sound interesting. This could be game changing for rural players who have limited access to fixed position poké stops, so long as the randomness is done right. I’m also curious to see if they have any interaction with autocatchers, and whether they can be corrupted by team go rocket like poké stops can.

Make sure to use pinaps on all the new mon, mirror trade them for the XLs, and then hold on to them until double transfer candy. While the starters will probably stick around, some of the other new ones might vanish for eighteen months or be locked as pvp rewards, which is what they did with skovet, wooloo, and falinks.

4:50 that would be rarest shiny because Mateo eggs only be obtained *if you have an empty slot in your main egg storage* , meaning in order to obtain it, you must not spin a Pokestop in order to obtain it, OR if you're hatching an egg, hatch it before you finish a route session. Spinning a Pokestops guarantees you an egg as long as there's an empty slot. Those 3 bonus slot won't gonna count for that.

I really dislike the change in pvp from 60 to 50 seconds. In most leagues this doesnt matter too much, but in master league it completely changes battles. metagross mirror match battles mostly. This change alone will make me switch my main league for next season.

How will we get our first dynamax pokemon, if you need to use dynamax pokemon to fight in the dynamax battles? That can't be correct. I could see it if you can only dynamax a pokemon within those battles, if it is capable, and maybe that will be more effective, making you want to do it. But you must be able to use regular pokemon too, or you could never even start getting them.

I'm curious about this too. My guess is a tutorial or research will give us one to start

has anyone been experiencing raids lagging recently? When I joined any raids, my groundon was using mudshot with delays and the raid bosses' charged attacks went through without telling me. Also the damage from charged attacks are shown 1 second after the attack hit.

I'm hoping Dynamax falls flat on it's face (similar to megas and gets a huge overhaul, also like megas). Yeah it's a cool feature, but nothing about it feels rewarding. You have to collect an almost secondary in game currency, to get dynamax pokemon, to which hopefully you'll have four other people to 'raid' with that also have enough energy. Just saying, only another item for your bag to hold to which will only take up space and confuse new-er players of how to use each of these evo-power up items. On top of that, unlike gyms where you know where to go, these stops will shift every day and of course probably have different spawns for different times and hours, so even more puzzling and hard to coordinate (beyond not being remotable so subtract another portion of the PoGo population). Next we can't even use our previous pokemon some of us have collected and spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars on (travel, raid passes, incubators, inscenses, etc) only to be told starting NOW only these pokemon you get in the battles can dynamax...so what's the point in playing if every so often you're basically going to soft reset our accounts without doing so. FINALLY, if dynamaxing only doubles HP, then even if this increases CP it won't even be comparable to a mega getting all it's stats boosted, while being much easier to obtain and gain more resources for unlike what dynamzing sounds like its going to be. Overall: 2/10, for being a new feature and a different thing we could do. I'm thinking about 1/10, but that's gotta be for AR and scanning stops to which NO ONE DOES.

So I know this video is a bit old. I’ve taken a bit of a hiatus on pogo. From what I just heard you say is that.. you can’t battle in dynamax battles unless you have dynamax pokemon. But you can’t get dynamax pokemon unless you battle them.. but you have to have a dynamax pokemon to battle.
