Honourable mentions to Squirtle and Lapras! I didn't choose Squirtle because I like him being a fire-fighter, and I didn't choose Lapras because Lapras is happy with its family!! I wouldn't wanna separate it from them!! I also love Oshawott & Totodile, but I think they're bigger personalities than battlers. And as for Kingler - we haven’t seen it battling barely at all, so I wasn’t sure whether to include it or not.

While Ash HAS befriended more than 6 Electric types, 2 of them were Rotom, 2 were legendaries, Plusle and Minun were owned by someone else, one was a Raichu that he temporarily owned, one was a Magneton that was owned by someone else, Luxray was owned by Clemont, so really the closest Ash is gonna get to a full electric type team is Rotom Dex, Rotom Phone, Pikachu, Tapu Koko, and Zekrom

I think personally the best water team Ash could bring is Ash-Greninja Dracofish Buizel/Floatzel Palpitoad/Seismitoad Corphish/Crawdaunt Squirtle/Wartortle/Blastoise (either Mega/Gmax)

For the flying type champion team: Swellow (If it can take Pikachu's Thunderbolt like it's nothing it's powerful) Staraptor (Close Combat deals with Rock types) Rowlet (Feather Dance Trolling and he's God)/Dragonite (Dragon Dance Setup 😈) Charizard (Defeated an Articuno) Noivern (It might have been done dirty in the Kalos League but it did get a better hit than Hawlucha against Zapdos plus it's ability to sense things through soundwaves would be useful to deal with people's strategies) Naganadel (It's not a flying type but it can fly plus it knows Thunderbolt and Sludge Bomb which can deal with other Flying types and any Fairy types trying to take down Noivern)

Pretty cool team! If I were to make a team, I'd make one slight change. I'd replace Seismitoad with Feraligatr (Ash's Totodile fully evolved). I think Feraligatr's strength, agility and ferociousness would be very beneficial to Ash's team. As for Totodile's goofiness, I think he'd become less goofy after becoming a Feraligatr but I'd like for him to still be a little goofy, just to add a fun element to the team. Also, I really loved the Goodra element, I mean it's the perfect pairing yet no one thinks of it, amazing idea! So, great picks, great video!

The reason he included Seismitoad is, like I mentioned, his ground typing. Being a water type trainer almost his entire team is weak to electric and so having something to counter that is invaluable

At least buizel's not only built for agile movements but his ability also makes use of his streamline body, meaning he can also dish out attacks first for more damage

I really like this water type team good coverage in all aspects & the inclusion of Goodra actually helps balances out the team very well nicely built if I could make a suggestion for replacing Buisel replacement do I’d nominate Squirtle out all of his water types he was the first water type he’s ever owned & bounded well as friends but that’s just my opinion I know he’s mostly busy with helping out the squirtle squad. I’ve got my own all star ⭐️ team one Pokémon for each generation Here it is Lucario Fighting/Steel he’s my Pickachu to ash in a sense since Sinnoh. Inteleon Water loved since he was a Sobble. Charizard first Pokémon when I first began back Pokémon red & I do Charmander from the beginning just to clarify. Scizor Bug/Steel love bug types & he’s a big reder stronger Scyther. Agieslash love the sword & shield motive & the stance change ability nice 👍 touch & last but not least Swampert bin my main primary battler in the hoenn region all the way trough out my journey. I know Goodra is there to set up rain... but here me out here... bring in Kingler and Gmax it... part of me wants Squirtle on the team, but I don't really want to evolve Ash's Squirtle, but Kingler is already evolved and it can Gmax.. that is too perfect to but have. However if we did evolve Squirtle, imagine the chaos if we made it Mega Blastoise. He could have a Mega, a Gmax, and Ash Greninja. That would be crazy. Speaking of crazy, if we are having Ash go get Greninja, lets also have him go hunt down Lapras for extra grass coverage. He already ran into his Lapras once without even trying, he might be able to find it again. So my ultimate water team for Ash would be: Mega Blastoise, G-max Kingler, Ash Greninja, Seismitoad, Dracovish, and Lapras.

Personally I would replace Crawdaunt with Kingler, because I honestly I think Kingler is one of Ash's most underrated Pokemon for how strong it is. It may not fight much but it beat 3 Pokemon in a row despite never fighting with Ash before. And only lost once to Psyduck, because Ash didn't warn him about Psyduck's headaches.

Squirtle should have been on the list. He was super overpowered for a first form Mon and getting him to evolve into a Blastoise would probably make him God like. I mean the raw power of his Hydro Pump is amazing. When he first learned it he was so fast and strong that he escaped a really dangerous fall in the challenge and used it's speed and power to not only climb back up to the battle platform but also win the match. If his Hydro Pump was that powerful coming from just his shell then imagine how strong that would be coming from a Canon!!! It would take Intelions Snipe Shot to a whole new level in power and speed.

Nice team line, I will say it’s interesting that you made a team for a Water type user Ash that though still has them but doesn’t really have the major weaknesses that most Water type specialist have being Electric & Grass (he has two Dragons and a Ground type that does have a Poison move if needed), in actuality the only type I say Ash using this team as a Water specialist would have trouble against is the Fairy Type as 4 of the 6 Pokemon on here are weak too Fairy (two Dark & two Dragons) which is unusual for a Water specialist too have problems with. I say the worsts match up this team would have problems with is a team full of Fairy & Grass type users

I think Buizel needs to be a Floatzel due to suffering a lack of focus in the latter half of DP because of Infernape. And don't tell me that "Buizel learned Ice Punch, therefore it is good enough development" because while it may have been enough to beat a couple foes like Paul's Gastrodon, the lack of development proved why he failed against Kenny's Empoleon and Paul's Drapion. Also, Floatzel has the Swift Swim ability like Buizel, so I don't see what's wrong with Buizel evolving. The rest I like and I love how Crawdaunt and Seismitoad are better choices for Ash. Though If Goodra was not going to be on the list, I think Squirtle, Kingler, Feraligatr or Samurott (Hisuian) would be nice replacements.

greninja can take on grass types because greninja packs the move aerial ace to take down grass types

To make sure greninja is ash's ace pokemon we need to change his move set of course water shriken and ariel ace will stay and double team but the new move greninja will be using is dark pluse since its also a dark type

I think this is a great team, but i would change a couple Pokémon. I love Buizel and agree that it deserves a spot here, but i would replace it with Squirtle, Well actually Blastoise. Again i love Buizel, but since it's also on the ice team, I think it's okay. Blastoise is a Pokémon i wished Ash had because Squirtle should've evolved instead of Charizard imo because Ash wanted to pick Squirtle (also because i like Blastoise a lot more than Charizard) And i'd also replace Seismitoad with Samurott. Mainly because i love Ash's Oshawott and i wanted it to evolve so bad because it's my favorite Pokémon and also it would create a great Dynamic with Trio's Serperior and Bianca's Emboar. Also I think Oshawott's strength is Very underrated. It defeated Cilans Pansage who we've seen be Very strong later on in the series, and it's also defeated its evolved form Dewott, as Well as Stephan's Blitzle, despite it not having its scalshop and despite the typedisasvantage

If it were up to me I'd have Ash water type team as follows Greninja (duh) Crawdaunt Blastoise Seismetoad (gives the team a cover for electric types) Samurott Floatzel Basically making all of ash's unevolved water types fully evolve (like they honestly should have from the beginning) Useful as dracovish is in competitive, I was never gonna add that freakazoid to the team.
