*Fun Fact:* The original plan for the OG anime is that every Pokemon are supposed to start out just making short noises (like saying their names) and then they speak in full sentences after learning a new language. Well the DS Sounds in BDSP let’s you have Pikachu and Eevee with their original cries. I discovered this tidbit when I was playing around in Amity Square getting stickers & berries(with the occasional Poké Ball & Luxury Ball).

I have to be honest, the fact that they reuse the original cries for the regional variants really affected H-Typhlosion. Decidueye and Samurott sound fine, but Typhlosion’s OG cry fitted it perfectly because of how explosive it was, which doesn’t fit at all with the more laid back H-Typhlosion

Would probably be pretty unnecessary, especially considering that here unlike Sh/Sw, they would actually need to rework the Pokemon and can't just drop them and call it a day. And if you're going to do all that work, might as well just add in an actual new pokemon.

@@Whispernyan I meant Pokémon that already exist in the Hisui Dex that have regional forms(Ponyta line, Geodude line, Raichu, Lilligant, etc.)from the other games. Seriously, we can obtain an Alolan Vulpix from a request so why not the other regional forms(since Alola & Galar get mentioned in-game)of the existing Hisui Dex Pokémon.

@@RemLasher77 That... doesn't change anything. You can't just drop in a new form of a Pokemon, they have different models and animations, it WOULD take up the spot of adding a different pokemon. Alolan Vulpix is only in because it's the best at demonstrating how Pokemon gain regional forms from being in a different environment, and begs an interesting question of how come Vulpix from other regions never became Snowy-fied despite most other regions have much larger cold areas. The only regional varients Pokemon put into their base games are ones in which are evolve into a different pokemon. Both Sycther and Sneasel evolve into two different pokemon, since Weavile is Jhotoian Sneasel's evolution, they have to include that as well. This was the same in Sword and Shield, pre DLC the only original versions of new regional forms were Mr Mime, Zigzagoon, Yamask, and Meowth, all pokemon who were given new evolutions.

@@RemLasher77 From a logic perspective, Kantanion Voltrob and Eletroude would make the most sense to be found inside a Space Time Distortion. From a gameplay perspetive definitely Unovan Zorarok and Zourua since it's a completely different type. But I don't really get what you mean. It's not that can't implement these pokemon. It's that it's not as easy as you probably think it is. Wether they add in Unovan Liilligant, or a completely new pokemon like Swalot, they would both take the same amount of time to implement into the game.

I will say, as someone now studying animation, some of these animations ( mostly the first animation loops) are extremely bad…I understand they’re for attacks, but they’re way too fast for most of them and so jerky, its actually quite unbelievable that it made it though to the final…

The animations are most definitely sped up in the vid. I'vr played the game and the mons are not this fast in the overworld Either the vid is sped up or the games have some sort of way ti manipulate how fast the animation moves based on what attacks you sre using

Some of them sound like they have changed a bit. A few examples here, but Electabuzz sounds different here than it did in XY or since XY. Also, due to the sound effects added to cries in-game, they sound more echo-ey in-game, whereas here they play the 'raw' or 'dry' editions without reverb effect.
