I think a lot of 90’s kids (like me) secretly deep down wanted to see stuff like “Misty’s Staryu” or “Brock’s vulpix” but we know that won’t ever be a thing again as the tcg does seem to follow the modern characters in the series. I don’t think we will ever see the first 1,2,3 gens of trainers in this set or upcoming future sets. Anything can happen, but I’m not gonna have any old school expectations/throwbacks

I’m excited. This set is like dream league 2.0 for SV. All the people saying it’s mid also said Tera Pika was mid, twilight masquerade was mid, and Eeveelutions with crowns were mid… now there’s a set with no Tera hats and fan favorite Pokemon but it’s still mid 😂

I get why people are saying the gym heroes 2.0 but the style of the trainer positioning just gives my more platinum series vibes. I liked the trainer's picture more at the bottom lol Maybe I'm just old 😅 it's like a mixture of both.

Speaking of your rough time, I know almost all couples that lose a child split up very quickly after. They tend to hold resentment towards the other one and would like there to be blame. So u know, good for u guys. Don't just be a stat. U can always try again, u aren't acting like u are the only ones this happens to, and u seem to understand the meaning of the word commitment. I can never take people seriously who make judgment calls so quick... personally I'm not a huge trainers person but I can see N's Reshiram being a pretty decent chase in the set, and the cards actually seem quite playable so this is shaping up to be a good set already!

@ that’s definitely not what defines a chase card. Magikarp from Paldea Evolved and Groudon from Paradox Rift are both the top chases and neither are SIRs, doesn’t matter if it’s SIR or not, as long as people like it

Trainers with Pokémon are cool. But once they go heavy on the Cartoon like the card become like toddler's drawing. the Alt Arts, the most realistic they look the better. I hope they are a lot or Yeap I would agree MId Set.
