Well it's the closest we have, one of the two possible battles was intended to be a bonus final boss fight so it could be considered the legitimate Oak battle but yes if we got a bonus fight against him that was built up through a side quest that would be awesome. Maybe something like talking to Agatha and she mentions how he used to be as a trainer and then talking to Blue and he says something about facing Oak once and that could trigger battling Oak if you talk to him.

I just realized that Cynthia's theme music in B/W is slightly faster and more upbeat than the one used in D/P/Pt! :O No wonder I felt even more epic when I fought her in Undella town! Oh, and not to mention the whole "the hell are you doing here?!" reaction when I burst through her villa door, feeling all confident :P Oh, and the fact that her Pokémon were higher-leveled than before counts for something, too. Insane Garchomp.

Cynthia is my favorite champion. Why? She’s very beautiful, she has a kickass team in every game she is battleable in, she’s appeared in all sorts of storylines, and most important of all, for a trainer of her power, she’s coolheaded & not at all arrogant (unlike a certain Kanto professor’s grandson!)

The (former) Kanto champion Blue has appeared in only five series of games (R/B/Y, G/S/C, FR/LG, HG/SS, and B2/W2). Cynthia has appeared in four (D/P/Pt, HG/SS, B/W, and B2/W2). Blue was the first champion, Cynthia the fifth. I think she's Gamefreak's favorite champion.

That's exactly the point. It's really really mean. XD It would be pretty harsh on veteran player like myself also because when you get to Victory Road you are perhaps level 50 at the highest, and level 50 versus level 100, yeah... The point of this nastly little trick is to knock a sense of humility into the over confident player, to show them that how far they have come is of no comparison to how far they have left to go on their journey to be a Poke'mon master.

@AidanzStuff Or go to Giant Chasm and catch Kyurem (Dragon/Ice). Admittedly the area is swarming with Clefairy and Metang, AND Kyurem is a Legendary so the battle is a challenge, but it comes in at Lv.70 and with a signiature Ice move that lowers speed.

Yep. All of her team. They all have exploitable weaknesses. I.E Spiritomb: Foresight, any fighting type move. Elektross, Gravity (or knock down) and any Ground-type move. Garachomp: Any water/ice/dragon type move. Braviary: Lightning, Rock. Lucario: Fighting, Psychic, Electric, Ground. Milotic: Fighting, Lightning. That right there is all of her teams weaknesses covered. You are welcome.
