Interestingly, Cheren's early name looks to be 'Kuroku', Kuro being Black in Japanese. Bianca's name is 'Howaiti', which could be read as "Whitey". Looks like they wanted to keep the white/black theming with their names even this far back

19:56 - Touhou also has Glitches that persist between multiple games. To be fair, ZUN has fixed some bugs from individual games, but there's still glitches that can be done in multiple games in a row that are either eventually fixed in a newer game or are just not dealt with at all.

The Pokémon centres happen because the transition to route 2 doesn't exist. Basically, the assets had no time to load in. You need to cause a reload of the area to fix that.

This build is incredibly buggy. I swear I saw someone get the interior to work. But they skipped all the events at the start.

The npc with the options asks to play Pokémon Rock-Paper-Scissors. First options: Yes No And once you choose the type, they mention how it's weak against like Fire Water Grass.

I can't get some of the older black and white beta roms to work, They just cut to a black screen after the title and make a strange noise like an old car trying to start lol. I've tried going in-game through the debug menu as well but the same thing happens. How'd you get this one to work??

@@VoidBreakr I just ran the .srl through DesMume, although for B/W I did some of them on MelonDS too - perhaps try the other that you aren’t using?

I don't know if the dates on these builds are entirely correct, since I found a build apparently dated on the 13th that seems more complete than this..
